Boy, what an epic choke job by the Lakers tonight, and did they choke HARD.

Some ugly Lakers stats...

- 3-16 from the field for 13 points in the 4th quarter
- 6 turnovers in the 4th quarter
- MWP 3-10 from behind the arc
- Beasley torching LA with 27 points, 10 of those in the 4th quarter alone

Lakers fall back down to earth after a 3-game winning streak and extend their road losing streak to 8 games.

I take it as a compliment. No matter how good or bad the Lakers are, just shows you that they're still relevant and a team that the rest of the league is looking to beat.

I agree but it sucks too these losses are excruciating and happen way too often

True, but it is what it is. What's more excruciating than these losses though is how they've lost all these games.

Agreed but it just pisses me off so much they take two steps forward and then don't respond in the 4th quarter at the beginning of a seven game road trip that will determine our season. Just unnaceptable.

Agreed. Believe me, I'm probably just as pissed as you are. Definitely not the right way to start a road trip, especially one that could define whether or not they make the playoffs. That 4th quarter was absolutely sickening to watch. Laker inconsistencies are still alive and kicking.

Thank God the month of January is finally over. Lakers went an abysmal 5-11 when they at least could/should have gone 10-6

I believe it lol glad I'm not the only one. Gotta keep the faith though for sure. The good way to look at this is if we beat all the remaining teams that we SHOULD beat on this trip we only have to win one of the following games to have a 4-3 trip: Boston, Brooklyn, Miami.

I did not watch the game (fortunately) but we're back to reality: losing on the road and mediocrity. Do not let Lakers' 3 past fluke games fool you.
