Can't cry after every loss, just got to roll with the Lakers.

Kobe kept passing and trusting his teammates to knock down open shots in the 4th Q (which they were unable to). LA couldn't score for [expletive] and Suns offense was rolling in the last quarter. It's more than just missing shots. What they've been doing the last 3 games disappeared in the final minutes. Kobe held onto the ball too long and the rest of the team started watching.
I expect Kobe to be far more aggressive next game around and be more of a scoring threat than 'Magic Mamba'.

BTW , Kobe as a PG is basically like one of my favorites, Jason Kidd. Near Triple doubles, but a better shooter. Not as quick, but a better iso player. Not as good of a passer but just as effectively

See below man, your over reacting. I think at a .666 % we may make the 4-6 seed....lol. I mean were only 8 games behind Golden State. Regardless its to late for that, so thats not the goal. .666% is just not feasible atm.My point was they have to .666 from here out and have to play like the Heat, OKC, San Antonio, and and the Clippers from here on out, just to make the 8th seed, after the hole they've dug for themselves.
If they play just better than average basketball from here on out, they will not get to 45 wins, which might be the cutoff for that coveted 8th seed.
This road trip really defines the team in my judgment.
100% Exactly. We have to play 4 games better than Houston to make it to the playoffs. Nothing more or nothiing less.
Can't cry after every loss, just got to roll with the Lakers.
or 5 games better than the Jazz. Still possible to. But either or. Whatever it takes to snag a spot.
And what helps that mission is the Jazz and Rockets still play each other once. So we pull for the jazz that game and that closes are true gap to 3 games behind Houston.

By "teammates" I assume you mean MWP. Guy was chucking it up every time he touched the ball. He should have been pulled from the game right after that step back 3.Kobe kept passing and trusting his teammates to knock down open shots in the 4th Q (which they were unable to). LA couldn't score for [expletive] and Suns offense was rolling in the last quarter.

If not.. Could be trouble.
Lets leave Pau in minni and take ak, williams and pekovic!
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

looked kind of like they changed the gameplan a bit because nash was back in phoenix...switched back and forth awkwardly between nash and kobe running the show, seemed to screw up rhythms, nash had a poor start to the game because apparently (as he said before the game) he was nervous, but they were still in it
by the time nash figured it out, everyone else started bricking, and by the end of the game, they seemed to go back into watch kobe mode...then defense fell apart when howard went out.

I think Kobe will have a ten game stretch of averaging over 10 dimes and then eventually, he'll go back to around 6-7 and the team will just more engaged overall.
yeah i feel the same .. But its mostly how the defense will react ,, if they continue to double team Bryant and the miss wide open shots they'll figure out something else ,, its more of an experiment .. This means we'll live and die on how kobe plays every time ..
The one game the team played without kobe was against Denver(first game) ..
We'll wait and see

this was a very disappointing loss for me, mostly because there's no way in hell we should have lost this game...i don't care if dwight went out in the first quarter. this was the first game of what could have been a season defining road trip...

You also see stuff like this when a team loses a player to injury (like Boston just did).
Regardless, it sucks.

Often this happens. A team trade their best player and when the new team plays the old team, the old team wins. I think it was the same when LBJ went to Cleveland.

nah lebron destroyed cleveland in his first game back

Not necessarily. All i'm saying is when other guys aren't able to knock down their shots, Kobe has to become a scorer.^So back to the start of the season, when Kobe scores 30 and the Lakers lose?

Yep Kobe went about 2 to 3 minutes even after Dwight was out before he decided to try to score apparently! People forget that, he was still trying to pass to others. And then the posters complain about metta getting too many shots(all open looks from Kobe) and then hate on Kobe saying 5 shots means he's "selfish again"
MAKE UP YA'LL MINDS! Lol complainers
