were better than the celts but the fatigue of travel will set in and the a holes at the garden will be pumped to get a win in any way they can vs LA. And the Heat game will be close if D12 controls the paint. But I chalk the loss up to road fatigue more than being out matched.

^Good point. But there likely will be a letdown somewhere on the road (NJ or Charlotte), plus a loss in Miami is likely. So, 5-2 is still a reasonable expectation, which would put the record at 25-27 after the trip, with 30 games left. I still think the POs are a stretch, but we'll see.

A bit worried about this trip. I don't know what it is about the road this year that is just flat-out kryptonite to this team. Our three's really stop falling on the road.

weve changed the offensive scheme to something much more basic. The rotations are not as difficult. The last 3 games theyve been shooting great and thats a result of the new game plan to play the 2 man game w/ KB & D12 and use Nash off the ball.

Towards the end of a 7 game road trip. Thats a lot of travel. One thing that will help us a lil is Celts play in Toronto the night before. So a back to back for them. But after 3 days rest. I hope we win, but its tough in the Garden always.

Slow down. a 4-3 road trip is not the end of the season nor playoff contention. 1 game is the difference of being 7th or 8th seed (cuzz the margin is so small between 7 and 8) or a game or 2 out with 30 games left to play.
Right now were 3 games out of the 8th seed. We can go 4-3 and be ok. Utah and Houston have tough schedules ahead to. Lets root OKC and the Clips beat them over these next seven days. That alone pulls us into 1 game out of 8th seed if we take care of business on our end.

I'm not gonna try to diss you bro as I dont do much of the crap talking but I'm sorry I must use you post above as a perfect example.

I believe your a fan, so dont think other wise. But this season our culture has changed. All season long weve had a pitty party. Myself included. EVERYONE on here is out of character. Usually I'm viewed as the pessimist just because I'm not acting like a Homer. But now I believe the majority of our fan base is emotionally invested in doom and gloom. But time will fix this temporary condition as we move on and succeed more and more.

But I believe the Lakers solved the core of their problem.
And you will read what that core of our problems were for the first time anywhere in 2 words....."OVER COACHING".

Were back to basics and have a game plan everyone on the team has bought into thanks to Kobe God.
Were not false by any means. Now anything can happen of course because this is the NBA but this team, this roster and the direction theyre headed in is anything but false. Its the real deal.

Dont get me wrong though its not perfect and theres room to grow and improve. But name me a perfect team in the NBA right now who has NO weakness. So no were not headed to the Finals because KB/D12 are finally playing the 2 man game with Nash off the ball. But its a solid foundation and every team in the NBA knows it. OKC knows it. If we can crack that 8th seed position and hit the playoffs with motivation and confidence EVERY team in the West knows we can be the upset team. We are now competitive. 42 games to get there, but thats ok. Its the last 40 that matter now.

Side note: Personally I want the Clippers in round 1. Lets show our lil brothers whos still runs this mutha [expletive].

^And I'm not dissing you either, but jumping on the "its all good now" bandwagon seems a bit premature. 2 good wins and one semi-lucky one dont conviince me they have turned it around. Just a week ago, most here were declaring the season lost, and 3 wins after 45ish miserable games should convince us otherwise? Not buying it, at least not yet. 12 days from now, we will know alot more, thats all I'm saying.

I like your enthusiasm though. I have a feeling though that you would not be quite so optomistic if they had lost last night, and they came within a bad no-call on Clark and an Anderson 3 of that being the result.
