Im not too upset by tonight's loss in Miami. We battled for 3 Quarters and ran out of gas in the 4th. Glad the trip is over, lets take care of business and win these next two before the break comes. Must win games vs Phoenix and Clippers this week

That cost us in the long run because we had Miami out of rhythm a lot of the game but didn't capitalize cause we weren't securing rebounds or getting the loose ball.
Abyway that Suns loss is what hurts but we loist Dwight that game too so explainable.
Gotta win the next 4 at home and they are winnable games. We just gotta keep playing intense.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Depends on how the Rockets and Jazz play the rest of the way. But yes that's the way they need to look at it. I think what they need to do is to aim for going undefeated at home the rest of the way or 15-1. Then win every other road game. And that is very doable if we come into every game from here on out focused. I have no doubts about that. What I doubt is if they have the mindset to do so every game. If they do then we will be in the playoffs I guarantee you.Couldn't close it when we had controlled the game. Too many turnovers. 4-3 on the trip. 24-28 on the season. Can't lose more than 8 games the rest of the season.

Next four games are winable, but 2 of the four are playoff bound teams, Celtics and Clippers, and that's a problem. Then a two game mini-road trip--those two teams are very winable, Dallas and Portland. Probably go 3-3. or 4-2 if they suddenly develop focus in the 4th quarter. Could go 5-1 if they play with desire. 5-1 would bring the Lakers to the .500 club, a huge milestone.

What I saw Sunday was a mirror of what has been going on all season, 2-3 good quarters, and the Lakers run out of gas. The Heat on the other hand played well for three quarters and then turned it up a knotch, with some incredible highlight film defense which turned into slam dunks. Iso Kobe led to Heat rebounds, Heat steals, and Heat buckets. Say what you want about D'Antoni and his defensive scheme, we simply don't have the personnel with the defensive skills or focus in the 4th quarter to do what I saw the Heat and Celtics do.

Good points. Play decent for 3 quarters then run out of gas is what happens when you have no bench and old starters.
