lol D-league. I guess they think it will increase ticket sales. They will probably make him practice and we know how he feels about that.

well you can't expect him from coming from being in the euro leagues for so long and playing back directly into the NBA. He has the get a feel of things again and if he shows he still has that step, then maybe a NBA team will offer him a contract, possibly a 10-day.

Used to be my second favorite player to ever watch, behind Kobe. At least he's going to be playing back in the states.

I'd take Iverson to take the backup PG role than any of our guards currently.

Why do people keep thinking Iverson is a point guard?! He is a shooting guard. Always has been always will be. He was very uncomfortable playing PG. Nowadays you have short shooting guards teams try to turn into point guards, like westbrook. Iverson never converted till the twilight of his career, till then he was a straight up shooting guard through and through.

He was an MVP of this league at the prime of his career. Man, if he has to go down to D-league level he should just call it quits. Money can't be that bad for him

Iverson Declines D-League Offer, Admits Actions Ended Career Early

Posted Image

Allen Iverson wrote on Twitter that he has declined an invitation to join the D-League's Texas Legends.
The Legends have been pursuing Iverson throughout the season.
"I thank Donnie (Nelson) and Dallas for the consideration and while I think the D-League is a great opportunity, it is not the route for me," wrote Iverson.
"I realize my actions contributed to my early departure from the NBA, should God provide me another opportunity I will give it my all," Iverson continued.
Iverson's post was his first in 57 days.
