I'm calling it. Teams are going to start doubling Kobe trying to get the ball out of his hands...and Kobe and Nash start swapping roles back and forth, like they should have done from the beginning. This offense was made for a quick scoring 2 who still passes with a legit playmaker on the ball.
Can Kobe score quick? Yep. Can Nash score quick? Yep. Should be fun to watch.
The key is keeping the ball moving. If that means Kobe has to play PG to keep the ball moving, so be it.

We've got a lot of winnable games ahead of us in the upcoming road trip. If we continue to play well by passing the ball and develop some chemistry defensively, we could win 15 of our next 19 easily. If we go into the middle of March with a 35-29 record, it will be hard for us to NOT make the playoffs. We need to win at least 25 of the last 37...
Share the ball and I believe it's quite possible. One thing that CAN'T happen is for us to get our 30th loss before we get our 35 win. We need to play HARD for the next 20 games to build some momentum and put us in that 6th or 7th spot before March 15th. This "new" identity should get us there.

Fish is a career 40% FG shooter, and a 37% 3pt shooter
Nash is a career 49% FG shooter, and a 40% 3pt shooter, and he put these numbers up without the luxury of having somebody else facilitate for him like he has now.

Hurts us a lot. We cannot defend at the rim without him. If gasol is our rim defense we're doomed. Apparently we were ahead when dwight went down, when he was out we got torn apart on drives.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Kobe feels that they are tuning in to the right playstyle and have the base and just need to make adjustments perfecting that.
Feels that turnovers, losing Dwight, careless mistakes cost them tonight.
Also Nash and him both missing go ahead buckets that kept the lead at 3 when it should have been pushed to 9.
Yeah I agree with Kobe in terms of offense and such. If we lose it will be because of careless mistakes or losing a key piece, even so,I'm glad he wants to perfect this style we play with now and will continue moving forward with it.

I think Kobe had a talk with Jerry West...I think West went from being a prototypical shooting guard to Point guard to accomodate Gail Goodrich even though Jerry was a better scorer than him.

This IS Jerry and Gail part two. That was a great comparison and I made it earlier in the week.
Jerry West and Kobe are probably more alike than Kobe and MJ especially now that Kobe can't run or dunk the way he used to.
Smart, tough, good all around player that is also an incredible offensive player, with a plethora of moves.
I think after the road trip, we will get back into Kobe scoring around 22 with 5-7 dimes, Nash with about 12 and 8, and everyone else falling in.
