Great find. I applaud you for tracking this thread down and applying the update in here as need be. The news will likely get a lot less views & hits (unfortunately, knowing from experience), but this is the more organized way to go about it for sure. It's a judgement call though. Sometimes it's best to do it this way and sometimes make a thread on its own. Not always a clear wrong & right, but I at least again, applaud your attention to detail. That is not always seen around here nor in life (and please folks if you're reading this don't take my comment the wrong way & get offended, no need for that).

Nah, you've just gotta' pay attention to detail a little more & not assume. You'll see this approach in the grand scheme of things, pays off in life quite a lot as well. Less assumptions, more attention to detail. Clarification never hurts.

Rajon Rondo is reportedly targeting a January 17 return. The Celtics host the Lakers that night. http://sbn.to/KQlRa6

^ How shocking.

I'm looking forward to his comeback more than anything in hopes that he'll compete like crazy and help Boston win at least just a few more games helping us in our draft position.

It might turn ugly for the Lakers if he does, but I admire Rondo so it's all good.

Totally forgot about Rondo.

This is good, I had the Celtics as one of a handful of teams projected to be worse than us. Rondo's return will negate that. Good news.

Fun may be overstating things a bit.

But at least a reason to go!

Back in the day, with Bird and Magic, lakers and boston played eachother during the PRESEASON and even those were good tickets to have.

Hoping Rondo regains his place quickly as a top PG. He controls a game like few others

Praying for 1. Kobe's Health, 2. High Draft Pick (Randle!) 3. Miracle Trade (Not yet), 4. Quality Free Agent (Boozer, kind of), 5. Brilliant Coaching Hire (Byron!...but the jury is out)

Rondo is a major key in the lakers getting a top five seed in the draft.

And that's why Kobe likes Rondo.
