I'm actually sad for the Celtics. Heat are gonna coast through the playoffs now. Celtics were the only team imo that could've possibly stopped them.

He was the engine that kept the Celtics going. Tough loss for them. Hope he gets back 100% because even though he's a Celtic, he's an amazing player to watch.
Oh and my fantasy team had Kevin Love, Rondo, and Lou Williams... Sucks.

Horrible loss for the Celtics, although they beat Miami today that won't hold for the playoffs. Hate seeing Miami have such a clear path (bar Knicks / surprise upset) all the way to the finals.

Bulls can be an obstacle if they get back to their top defensive form; same for the Pacers if they don't act all hard like last season.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Lol Knicks aren't beating the heat. I don't care how much people want to ignore that fact. Just like when the lakers were defending their title and everyone was picking someone who would "challenge" them

Rondo tore it near the end of the game against ATL.
this guy is such a beast, he thought it was just a mild sprain and finished the damn game. didn't know it was torn until the knee forced him to sit at shootaround prior to the MIA game.
hope this guy comes back with a vengeance. he needs to hire AP and Rose's strength/conditioning rehab coach.

Actually he thought it was a hamstring injury.
He didn't find out about the injury until Jackie Macmullen told him upon his arrival the arena after his MRI, this was while the game was under way. Rondo was waiting for the doctors call but apparent the team had already confirmed to reporters.
He was stunned by the news, he was telling Macmullen how could it be torn, he was walking just fine.

Sad news, hope he has a speedy recovery. Maybe this will force the Celtics' hand around the trade deadline. An ACL tear takes a little under a year to come back from and I imagine that they won't be very competitive to start next season. They may want to gear up for the 2014 Free Agency if they see next season as a complete loss. Praying this leads to a Pierce-Gay-Gasol blockbuster.
