The three-way between Boston, Toronto and Memphis could be true. What we know:

1) Memphis has been interested in Pierce for a long time.
2) Memphis wants to trade Rudy Gay.
3) Toronto wants Rudy Gay.
4) Boston needs a PG (Calderon) and a PF (Davis), which allows them to move Jeff Green down to SF permanently.

So you're looking at Boston dealing Pierce to Memphis, the Grizzlies handing Gay to the Raptors, and the Raptors dealing Calderon and Davis to the Celtics.

BOSTON CELTICS
C - Kevin Garnett
PF - Ed Davis
SF - Jeff Green
SG - Bradley
PG - Calderon (Rondo next year...smh)

TORONTO RAPTORS
C - Gray (Valanciunas when he returns)
PF - Johnson (Bargnani when he returns)

PG - Lowry

I don't see why Memphis wouldn't want him. Randolph is no spring chicken and Davis would be a great player to bring along to take over the 4.

Yes I am, Toronto born and raised. Cali is my 2nd home. Sadly being a Torontonian means I've suffered through terrible sports teams...
But regarding the trade, I still don't think Boston is the third team in this trade.

Hey Toronto had the BLue Jays there for a couple years and some great years with Doug Gilmour on the Leafs.

Now as far as the Raptors go, um, yeah, the franchise should be contracted or moved.

Doesn't help that my favorite NFL team's the Eagles...

Raptors, Grizzlies Searching For Third Team To Take Calderon

The Toronto Raptors to discuss a trade for Rudy Gay, but sources say it is proving difficult to find a third team to acquire Jose Calderon.
The Raptors are reportedly building a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Gay around Calderon and Ed Davis.
Calderon is in the final season of his contract.
