These players are built to run the triangle.
Oh well. Kobe and pau know it enough to run it, and nash is smart enough to move without the ball
And Dwight can set screens, roll, and dunk
Should be fine as long as they continue thise

The triangle works.
You got a glimpse of what it could do for this team along with Kobe dishing.
That post pick and roll in down low was lethal. Hopefully they squeeze out a few wins before teams figure it out

D12's screens are not that great ... too soft ...
Yeah that was bugging me.
Defenders didn't have to commit because he half assed every one of them.

It took the Heat 17 games to figure out what offense to run. Took us around the same amount of time but it took us longer to get our actual lineup to play 17 games.
Night and day is our play now.
Nash playing off ball getting hockey assists with Kobe. Seems like we've FINALLY found our idenity. But I'm still waiting to see us play 10 games this way.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Watch the second half again. With Metta in the corner and either Pau or Dwight on the post it was triangle heavy.
Then when D'Antoni did his stupid take Nash and Kobe out at once gambit, it fell apart because nobody else could run the triangle.
Anyway, good to see the team ignore D'Antoni and give actual effort for a whole game.
P.S. Dwight completely chaned OKC's offense. As was said, look beyond the stat sheet. He just got a handful of bogus calls.

The script stays the same for the Lakers. Slow down the pace and don't give up a big quarter. Once you give up that big quarter to the Thunder, their confidence goes straight through the roof and they will run you out the gym.
In our first matchup, game up a 41 point second quarter. In our second matchup, gave up a 39 point second quarter. That's been the story of the year in good teams blowing us out.
Effort has to stay consistent and we must have a scoring threat on the court at all times.
The Thunder are the best team in the West and arguable the best team in the NBA, if we are going to show some sort of signs of life, it has to come tomorrow on national tv.

Thing is, if we're not running his system, what good is he?
Wouldn't it be better to have a coach with a mind more focused on an offense this team responds well to? I still want him gone.
