Didn't know this until today. Apparently 'X Play' was as well and the whole channel G4 itself might be to, although there's also reports that they might just try to re-make the whole channel and call it G4Men or something like that.

Sucks, I was looking for some 'Around The Net' videos that they post and looked up today and apparently they had their last show not too long ago.

Stopped watching when 90% of their scheduled programming was cops, the other 5% C-list reruns, the other 4% ninja warrior, and the last 1% the shows that people actually care about

DirecTV stopped carrying this network a long time ago. Even when I did have it, I didn't watch for the reasons last stand mentioned, and it wasn't in HD.

That channel did give us Olivia Munn tho, so that was a positive.

G4 is being disbanded anyway.

They're re-structuring the channel into a "guy's" channel, which is sure to suck beyond the level of Spike's own version of suck.

Spike has been a disappointment.

Give me ESPN, AMC, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, NFL Network and I'm good.

Pau Gasol is GONE

Honestly, I have the internet, I just don't need TV at all any more. The only reason we held on to TV is for the Lakers, and we're cancelling the whole thing as of next month because that's now become a waste of time and money too.

I watch maybe 2 hours a week, that's about it. It's all just absolute crap.

Attack of the Show and X-play were 2 of my least favorite shows in the history of TV...

I hated when my friend would put them on, they were terrible...

Does anyone here know of any place or places around the net that have something similar to a daily "Around The Net' like feed? Like top interesting, disturbing, and or funny videos accumulated from around the net per day & posted?

Attack of the Show used to be really good at that with their "Around The Net" segement. Would find a lot of gems over the course of time. Miss that.

Revision3 is pretty good. It's basically the old TechTV/g4 guys.

http://revision3.com/

My tv has a rev3 app built in so i can just stream the shows from there.

If you guys remember the old TechTV show "The Screen Savers" there's a show that's pretty much the same called TekZilla hosted by one of the original Screen Savers hosts, Patrick Norton. Along with Veronica Belmont

And then Adam Sessler also has a couple of video game related shows on there as well.

I would recommend:

Tekzilla (Tekzilla feeds your tech hunger! Patrick Norton, Robert Heron and Veronica Belmont bring you hands on reviews of the latest gear, tips and tricks that improve the tech you already own and conversations with the most informative experts around.)

HD Nation (HD Nation is your guide to the best in HD content, and the best in home theater gear, no matter what your budget is!)

If you like Adam Sessler:

ADDRESS THE SESS

SESSLER'S ...SOMETHING

There's a bunch of other shows i haven't been able to check out but those first 2 are ones i check out regularly.

You can check out other shows here: http://revision3.com/shows
