I do believe he's growing unhappy with the team though. It makes sense, the FO has been awful. I don't blame him for not trusting this team going forward.

LeBron and Stern (to name a few) have taken some serious beatings by Woj. Think any less of him?Mona is a journalist and her scathing attacks on Jim Buss show me her worth

The Lakers would be stuck with middling pieces that keep the Lakers in that dreaded middle area.

Her claims had far less merit.LeBron and Stern (to name a few) have taken some serious beatings by Woj. Think any less of him?
She is decent, not a Simers but certainly in that Plaschke family.
Woj is the Kobe of new-age media types. Broussard is the Troy Murphy.

If they choose MDA over Dwight, I think I will take a break from the Lakers from the shame. NBA reporting is the worst journalism in the world, and they want us to break up our team so they can laugh at us more.
Keep Dwight, and do a sign and trade if he plans on leaving if possible. Nightmare!

I'm sorry but if it comes to it, we should just deal him away. There is still a market for him out there. Dallas wants him for sure, and Brooklyn still have eyes on him. We could get role players, and draft picks, and still bank on 2014. It's not end all be al.

And to also people who keep wanting Pringles fired, it won't happen. We are already paying Mike Brown for 3 more years do you REALLY want to do it AGAIN!? In one season?! Dr. Buss is not Scrooge Mc'Duck.

Devastating mistake.
Not only devasting if Lakers make this mistake but to do this rather than fire antoni is beyond stupidity

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Think about what the Magic got for him. The Lakers won't even get anywhere near that mid-way through his final season after showing that he's not quite the same player and after even more personality issues.
Kobe is probably going to retire after next season. Even if he doesn't, his contract is up. Being stuck with whatever the Lakers get for Dwight by itself isn't going to do the Lakers a lot of good.

I don't get why everyone thinks firing D'Antoni solves our problem. Dwight has had a problem with his last 2 coaches. There is a Dwight problem in LA. Sure D'Antoni has to go. But at what point do we say Dwight STFU and PLAY BASKETBALL.
The reason why people are on D'Antoni because:
- Refuses to change the offense and instead keeps it going through a 38-year old point guard
- Says the offense is the issue after every loss, even when giving up 125 points.
- Instead of adjusting the offense to our strengths, benches Gasol so we could "go small".
D'Antoni isn't the ONLY issue. He's a big part of it. Dwight also needs to get his ass in check as well and get it going. I don't disagree with that.
It's a collection of things, but D'Antoni definitely is the most frustrating right now
