Sorry, Kobe deserves as much blame as D'Antoni. Has taken 107 more shots than anyone else in NBA. Last 3 games awful. Too many j's, few FTs.

Yeah OK skipper.

We lose no matter what Kobe does these days.

As mentioned earlier, maybe this is a bit of insight as to why they played well under Bernie, additionally why the Nets are doing well now...

We allowed an average of 92 ppg under Bernie. MDA needs to slow it down. Just one of our MANY problems.

He's right about the past few games, but that has more to do with him being run into the ground by MDA and still being expected to carry the load.

Skip is a moron though.

^ This is the same guy who said he would rather have Russell Westbrook on his team than Kevin Durant.

I dont think they can fire him coz we're still paying for Brown. & until we pay him off, where are we going to get all that money to be paying for 2 fired coaches plus a new one.. we might be stuck with him. :/

If I'm not mistaken, the Lakers signed a deal with TWC that was worth a lot of money. I would get the money from that.

But Jim Buss put this team in that situation and he shouldn't hesitate to get himself out. The only way that they get out of Mike's contract is if he steps down, which could happen if this team goes even further south.

We played good under Bernie because he wasn't self involved. He let the players figure things out and he just pointed out their mistakes. What Mike Brown did in his time and what Mike D'Antoni is doing now is getting too involved with the process. You cannot reach your guys with that mentality, that will just irritate them. Whenever we went on a bad run during a game, Phil didn't call a timeout, he let the team figure out their own mistakes, gain that insight. We played what we know. I think this is where the problem starts and ends with this team. You would think with this much talent and basketball IQ, players would call their own shots. Within a system though it is not possible.

I just wouldn't do a deal for the sake of it. Take on contracts, when its clear that the Lakers are starting over when Kobe retires.

They can get out of this by working out a settlement agreement whereby D'Antoni resigns and gets a decent amount of money - but not the 12 million.

At this point, It's beyond me how he's even made 12 dollars.
