I guess I just think PJ would be more respected in the locker room. I get the feeling MDA and MB just don't get the respect needed to get their point across. Not that MDAs point is worth getting across anyway.
Dont forget the Lakers roster tuned PJ out his last stint with them. Now he would obviously do better than Coach D, but PJ doesnt really want to coach anymore. Better talented players with athelticism & shooters is best option for upgrades oppose to caving in & bring PJ back. Who wants to pay $10-$12 mill per yr honestly for a coach = (its absurd even for pJ)

Brian Shaw, the next best thing and the guy who should've gotten the job instead of Mike Brown a couple years ago.
I agree with this, B Shaw was the man for the job and still is the man for the job but honestly I dont think the Lakers will make another change in coaching right now, they should, but they wont

In all honesty I may just be looking at the past success too much.
Given the catastrophic season I'm just reaching for anything that might work.
I'd be cool with Shaw and Fish and giving Phil a nice front office advisor job.
I dunno. This season has been a killer.

BShaw & Fish would be odd combo but Lakers would have that leader in the locker room that does not exist currently.

On the other hand, you can't ask Nash to play better taking into account that he's almost 40 years old. Nash is really a defensive liability (one of the several liabilities we currently have) and he is not shooting the ball well, so he is totally expendable.
Blow it up Mitch, and do it now.
Arguably the greatest franchise ever

one day they like you, one day they don't. simple as that
Ive hated Bynum since Day 1 = never change never will
Ive called for Clark to play since day (tagging him baby LO without the handle)
Ive called for Ebanks to play since last year (1 of the few bringht young talents on court)
Ive said Pau has exhausted his full value to LA after we won 2nd ring & he has gotten worse each next season
I may hate sometimes but I subsctibe to objective subjective hate! So I keep things in perspective when I make my comments.
Those Laker stans Im referring to do not see things on my level at all & neither do the Kobe bashers. I have no affiliation with them (they are the stans that make other teams fans hate LAker fans)
