The only time people should listen to Rudolph is when he's reporting what Dwight is thinking. He's credible when it comes to that, but he is AWFUL when it comes to reporting on teams.

17/12 and his defensive presence isn't much of an impact......right

lets just say that his impact is not impactful enough to win games. Dude has no decent post moves, can't protect the ball and gets stripped so often , and he can't make a FT shot even if his life depends on it — yeah, everyone knows this.
His presence can be felt on defensive end, but, compared to his Orlando days, his defense is just not the same anymore . Of course, he'll probably regain his form some time in the near future

He did it with Anthony Davis and the Hornets, he should be able to do it with Andrew Wiggins and the Lakers after the 2013 season

I would trade him or let him walk. It isn't a centers league. If they want to build around him it will take until after Kobe leaves to really start that process. Though I expect Jim buss to make exactly the worst decision, whatever that is. The team was much better before becoming a superstar team.
