The way Pau's been playing the past few years (especially this season), I think many would take Marc over him.I've always liked Marc Gasol's game. He just quietly does his JOB, night in, night out.
Do you think the Lakers would've been better off trading Bynum to Philly for...

Surprisingly, Pau Gasol plays at his best with the Spanish national team while Marc Gasol is just a role player for us. But nowadays in the NBA Pau Gasol is Marc Gasol's poor man.
Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Still think they should have.
Howard is probably another Malone/Barkley.

1. No....Holiday is not 10x better than Nash
2.No...Howard is still #1
3.True
3.True but who would be our center? Pau....theres goes our defense and quickness.
Dwight Howard: 17.1 points 12.3 rebounds 2.5 blocks 58% shooting
Tyson Chandler: 12.2 points 11.1 rebounds 1 block 67% shooting
Marc Gasol: 13.3 points 7.8 rebounds 1.9 blocks 48% shooting
Brook Lopez: 18.5 points 7.4 rebounds 2.1 blocks 51% shooting
Joakim Noah: 12.2 points 10.7 rebounds 2.1 blocks 45% shooting
Nice try.......stop trying to spew this bull[expletive] statement that "Howard is the 5th best center."
And thats him coming off back surgery.

David lee 19 pts a game 11 rebounds is he the best pf
Also did you include turnovers and missed foul shots on your stats.
Idc what the stats say i watch Howard and he has low basketball iq
Howard has more rebounds because gasol plays with Randolph and chandler plays with Lopez plays with Humphries
Howard keeps the ball by his waist when he goes up for a lay up u learn not to do that early.
Look how many pts lakers give
R center would be hill or free agent pick up with all the cap space we would have

So what you are saying is " I don't care about facts".Too the guy with all the stats

Bynum's suits would have been better in the Lakers bench, I will admit that.

Look who the other centers play with
Look at r record and there's
Verajo 14 pt 14 rebounds
Cousins 18 and 10
Pek 16 and 8
Bynum 18 and 11 last year hmm but Dwight's a great upgrade
Now add in missed ft and turnovers, Dwight being a locker room killer
I'll take a leader like chandler over Dwight any day
Off of stats I guess David lee is better then every pf
And Vasquez is top 5 in stats at point so he's a top 5 pg right?

Dwight plays with Gasol down low....so that doesn't mean muchI pointed out facts stat sheet doesn't mean everything look at David Lee is he the best pf
Look who the other centers play with
Look at r record and there's
Verajo 14 pt 14 rebounds
Cousins 18 and 10
Pek 16 and 8

So Dwight is the reason for our record? No you win as a team...you lose as a team
Why do those 3 guys matter? None of them are putting up better stats.
Most great bigs can't shoot freethrows at a high rate. Howard is averaging his career TO this year.....its not like he is turning it over more than ever.
David Lee and Vasquez haven't been dominant for 5+ years. They haven't got 3 DPOY in a ROW. They haven't carried their team to the finals.
However, you don't factor in that Dwight is coming off major back surgery and wasn't supposed to be back till this month. You also don't factor in that the Lakers have had two terrible coaches with 2 bad systems. Mike's system does not fit bigs like Howard.
Yet he is still putting up better numbers than any other center.
Nice try......why don't you go post another "fire Mitch" thread......

Some people never recover from
Back injuries.
Dwight hasn't really played with pau.
And yes one player can destroy a team
Dwight is a locker room killer
