That wouldn't be such a bad thing. This is a win-win situation. He's gonna demand a trade next.

Maybe or maybe not seeing him demand a trade other teams won't be giving up as much as they would normally and would likley low ball. And mitch would have to make a decision because if he did demand a trade our lockeroom would be in turmoil and every question asked would be how do you feel about pau asking for a trade. That wouldn't be such a bad thing. This is a win-win situation.

Good luck winning a championship with Earl Clark as your starting power forward.
Lakers didn't win it the last two post-seasons with Gasol starting.
What's wrong with Clark, his hustle?

Gasol is the backup center of D12 which gasol were good at post and furthermore Gasol might get frustrated for being a bench player then decided to be traded !
Lakers should keep on winning so that Pau Gasol will realize that he is not needed for this team and demand a Trade like Jamison feels when Mike D antoni benching him for the whole game.

I don't think we had much better "luck" with Gasol in the starting lineup. This is a temoporary upgrade.

Nothing is wrong with him. He's a good energy player to have off the BENCH, but with all due respect he's not a championship caliber starting 4.Lakers didn't win it the last two post-seasons with Gasol starting.

Well he is 23 so never know how good the guy will get. He seems to have improved greatly in the just 2 years in league so that means he has a lot of potentialNothing is wrong with him. He's a good energy player to have off the BENCH, but with all due respect he's not a championship caliber starting 4.

Pau is benched because of himself. To blame the system where he has been given every chance in the world to play anywhere is ridicoulous. He has been given the chance to post but he doesn't. He chooses to roll to the 3 point line on P&R's and he decides to stay out of the post. I have never seen dwight hill or any other big man doing what pau does in this system in terms of hanging out far from the post. He has been declining more and more for the past 2 years. This year just got to a point where he just plain couldn't be successful.Pau would be starting in any other system.
