If he wasn't spent trying to carry the team night in and night out then you wouldn'tI'll chance that over relying on a 34 year old Kobe to make contested 3 pointers from a foot behind the line, thx.

Why do I even watch a team that doesn't care?
I've asked myself that every single game this season, yet I continue to watch the next game. I'll probably stop watching once they're "mathematically" out of the playoffs though. It's only a matter of time from here on out.

But he is, and that's the point.

That's why I'm not too sad to hear that Mitch may be fired. Somebody in the front office needs take responsibility for all of this. They've done everything wrong.

No. He has been lately since he's been D'Antoni's designated PG defender. If we had even a respectable head coach with half a brain he would know that's a formula for disaster. Kobe's never gonna be as elite as he once was, but he is still a hell of a clutch player if he doesn't have to do all the work, which wears him down. But he is, and that's the point.

I agree with you, but as it stands this isn't the case, we have a terrible coach. His ill fated attempts at "heroics" aren't helping this team or the wear & tear on his body. Kobe's smart enough to know he should maximize his career longevity instead of trying to save a lost organization and destroying himself simultaneously
