We didn't play the Raptors like we played the Heat or any other really good team.

We deserved to lose, Dwight's technical was HORRIBLE, and our D was shotty

If this is true, it'd be pretty dumb to hold Mitch accountable to the point where it costs him his job. If the players actually put in the effort to be in a position anywhere close to where they were predicted to be, Mitch would run away with the GM of the year award.

Blaming Mitch for the Lakers' troubles is the stupidest thing I've heard this year.

Media stirring up news

Mitch is not sole responsible here. It's Mitch and Buds family.

The talent is there to win it all. It's a matter of coaching.

It's "shoddy", but...

Firing Mitch for the lakers trouble, would be like putting the designer of the titanic in jail!

In this anology, Mitch is the designer, and Mike Dantonie is the idiot capitan who ran into the iceberg!

If they fired Mitch I'd stop watching. Talk about directing blame in the wrong direction

He's gonna be in the hot seat for obvious reasons, but he's not gonna get fired. When they look around and see who's available for hiring, they're gonna stick with Mitch.

Mitch doesn't need to go

Whoever signed off on the two Mikes needs to go, whoever decided to keep Pau needs to go.

Pau Gasol is GONE

In all reality is Mitch Kupcheks legacy really that good?
he traded away shaq.... and had a horrible team until 2008 when we got Pau
and now he has assembled this team together with the coach and we are well below .500... with no draft picks no young talent or anything... I applaud him for getting Steve Nash and Dwight Howard I think those were legitimate transactions.. but those transactions are not giving us the results that we need/want...

Second Round Exit 2003
Finals 2004
didn't make playoffs 2005
First round Exit 2006
First Round Exit 2007
Finals 2008
Champions 2009
Champions 2010
Second Round Exit 2011
Second Round Exit 2012
didn't make the playoffs 2013

So since he's been here we've made 4 Finals Appearances and have won twice with a team he put together...
and The team he put Together was pretty much Kobe, Pau, Odom, and Bynum...

and one of those finals appearances really go to Jerry West because of the Shaq and Kobe Duo he put together

People, it is not just Mitch. It's Mitch + Jimmy. + Jerry. It's a three man team.

Mitch isn't going anywhere. I mean the guy has brought us hall of fame talent over and over. 41 games ago we were the favorites to win it all. Nobody can explain what happened.
