Do you really want to see the Lakers make the playoffs?

Pau and MWP become more palatable in any trade scenario with $19 million and $7 million expiring contracts. You can look at it as a last hurrah for Kobe or the beginning process of building a team around Dwight, assuming he re-signs with the team. They won't win with Kobe. Gotta let those bad contracts run their course and rebuild, just like every other team has to do. Will take at least past next season, unless they feel like mortgaging the future to chase one more with a Kobe who is one year older.

And apparently this team can't learn from their mistakes (look at the previous two playoff runs), so maybe they need the ultimate shock of being left out in the cold to slap them in the face hard enough to play with some kind of passion or desire.

Its a failure if they don't win the ring, that's what nobody gets.

No i think everyone gets that perfectly. That's the motto year in and year out.
If the Lakers make the playoffs, that's not an accomplishment. But at least they get there and give themselves a shot, regardless of how small of a shot fans think they have. If they lose in the playoffs, whether its in the 1st round or Finals, it's a failure.
You don't have a shot at the ring unless you make the playoffs. So of course I want them in the playoffs because that means we have a shot like the other 15 teams in the postseason.

The only one that got close was the Romets run when they were the 6th seed.
This team has no shot at a rig whatsoever if they somehow eek into the playoffs.

I want this team to make it, at least for history records.. but if people are thinking about not meeting OKC in the first round, other than the 1st round exit news, we'll have to meet them in the finals..
This team sucks as hell , and unfortunately from being a hardcore soccer fan to basketball , ihave no team in any sports to watch but the lakers .. Im all in, and i would still leave a window for making the playoffs , and then we might have the team we expected to be in the first place, i have my doubts but i hope it will happen

Don't care anymore, this team has sucked all the interest out of me...
This, unfortunately. It's becoming quite difficult to watch the games. But alas, as a dedicated fan.. solider through.
