^ Hah! Nah, that wouldn't make as much sense imo. Pesci doesn't play calm & intellectual as well as Pacino. Paterno was probably never as firey as a Pesci can get.

Pesci can play Joe Pa with little to no make up tho. He's a lock.

^ Well I agree on that notion that yes, naturally, he's got more of the look down than Al, but talent-wise, I believe Al would be better suited to pull off this kind of role for this particular character/person.
