Or above average offense

When you allow above average performances consistently, it's the defense.

For all that Metta has done well for the Lakers on offense, his defense has taken that much of a drop.

So stupid. Should have won this game.

No we shouldn't have. We are 17-22. We did what weve done all season. Lose basketball games

Doesn't matter if we make the play offs, this team isn't doing anything noteworthy until 2014.

We still match up better against the Heat than a team like OKC. This Laker team showed up tonight with no regard for taking care of the ball.

So not a beat down.

If howard makes those freethrows we probably have a better chance to win.

We held miami to below 100 which is good.

Things looking up for the lakers.

he said jumpshots, i'm talking about his jumpshot and if you watched the game he missed more than he made

he missed 8 jump shots in total. Made two jumpers. Everything else was in the paint.

This team is not capable of winning against real teams. I think they have beat a grand total of zero contenders, not to mention the rest of the league whom they have found new and creative ways to lose to.

Hopefully we miss the playoffs and antoni will re-sign.No point in making the playoffs to get swept . We are far from contending for the title and will have a very difficult time getting past the 1st round.

Hate to say it, but I think I have to admit that the torch has officially been passed. Lebron ripped this game away much like you could always count on Kobe to do. His presence on the floor was so dominating, it was palpable. You just knew he was going to have his way, you could feel it and there was nothing we could do about it. Being a Laker fan and having Kobe, it's so odd being on the other side of that.

The game changes, the players turnover, but the Mamba remains a constant!

Despite the early TOs and poor possessions, the Lakers still found themselves in the game in the final minute. But I'm not sure if it's more about the Heat having trouble with the Laker bigs or them showing signs of a long road trip.

Use that injured player exception & half of that mid-level exception to good use!
