Assuming Portland loses, Houston & Utah are then tied for 7/8 while Portland is a half game back of them in 9th place. We'd finish tonight 3 games back of the 7/8 seed. We needed these guys to start losing a few and it's been happening the last couple of games. Hopefully we take care of business in the coming games and get back into playoff positioning soon.

Lakers now just 4 back of Denver for the 6th spot.
Miami's game is crucial tomorrow, not only to get closer but for confidence purposes

The thing is that we should be able to beat every team.we just need to beat the teams we need to beat.

thats true, any nba team is capble of beating any team in a given night, but with our roster, we should be dominating every night. sadly that hasn't been the case. The thing is that we should be able to beat every team.

Didn't give up on them.you did, you even created a thread about it...again stop.
All I said was I didn't think we'd make the playoffs because we were playing so poorly and teams ahead of us were playing well. Now things have changed. The Lakers are playing well, won two in a row, and teams in front of us like Portland and Houston are struggling.

We just need to keep winning games. Other things will fall into place but something is definitely plaguing Memphis.

we need every single game we can get mental edge is a plus but we lost any wiggle room we ever halld. a game can be the difference between us missing and making the playoffs especially considering we drop games to teams we should blow out.not really... But it would help us get a MENTAL EDGE

We'll never catch Memphis and the playoffs is still a long-shot. The Lakers just need to play as if every game of the season might be the last, which is almost is.We just need to keep winning games. Other things will fall into place but something is definitely plaguing Memphis.

exactly we dont have the chance to say its okay if we go 4-2 becaude that could keep us oit of the playoff picture. We are making a run but not even in the playoff picture yet and are games behind the 8th seed. The players have to act like its game 7 of the finals every game whether we are facing the wizards or okc. People can say even Miami and OKC lose to terrible teams although that is true none of the contending teams have gone on losing streaks as long as we have. Losing to a bad team throught the season is normal but losing to bad teams on a consistant basis is not normal. We'll never catch Memphis and the playoffs is still a long-shot. The Lakers just need to play as if every game of the season might be the last, which is almost is.
