If the Lakers beat Miami I'll have some faith that they've turned things around and can make the playoffs. If not, they need to bounce back with another winning streak immediately. Gotta go through Dwight and pound the glass, he has to have a big game against their small lineup. Lock up their role players and hope the big 3 alone can't keep them in the game.

No one said its not a thread worthy but the fact that we cant rely on this team, for now at least, to hope for others to lose.

Houston just lost against Dallas, it's their 5th loss in a row. Portland is down by 17 to the Cavaliers at halftime.

Assuming Portland loses, Houston & Utah are then tied for 7/8 while Portland is a half game back of them in 9th place. We'd finish tonight 3 games back of the 7/8 seed. We needed these guys to start losing a few and it's been happening the last couple of games. Hopefully we take care of business in the coming games and get back into playoff positioning soon.

Denver also fell tonight to OKC.

Lakers now just 4 back of Denver for the 6th spot.

Miami's game is crucial tomorrow, not only to get closer but for confidence purposes

The thing is that we should be able to beat every team.

thats true, any nba team is capble of beating any team in a given night, but with our roster, we should be dominating every night. sadly that hasn't been the case.

Didn't give up on them.

All I said was I didn't think we'd make the playoffs because we were playing so poorly and teams ahead of us were playing well. Now things have changed. The Lakers are playing well, won two in a row, and teams in front of us like Portland and Houston are struggling.

We just need to keep winning games. Other things will fall into place but something is definitely plaguing Memphis.

we need every single game we can get mental edge is a plus but we lost any wiggle room we ever halld. a game can be the difference between us missing and making the playoffs especially considering we drop games to teams we should blow out.

We'll never catch Memphis and the playoffs is still a long-shot. The Lakers just need to play as if every game of the season might be the last, which is almost is.

exactly we dont have the chance to say its okay if we go 4-2 becaude that could keep us oit of the playoff picture. We are making a run but not even in the playoff picture yet and are games behind the 8th seed. The players have to act like its game 7 of the finals every game whether we are facing the wizards or okc. People can say even Miami and OKC lose to terrible teams although that is true none of the contending teams have gone on losing streaks as long as we have. Losing to a bad team throught the season is normal but losing to bad teams on a consistant basis is not normal.

We can get up to 10th seed tonight if clips beat Twolves and we beat the heat.

(Didn't think I would be saying something like that this season)
