For us to get Paul Millsap and Marcus Thornton, we would need to give back more than just Pau Gasol.

Paul millsap is perfect fit for lakers good shooter scorer high on stat sheet in steals

You would need to give up something more simply for roster space, but any way the Lakers can / could get Millsap is fine with me.

I kinda like this trade. Maybe the Lakers give up Morris or Duhon or something to the Celtics also. It would help them since they're losing some depth in the backcourt, plus it frees up a roster spot for us. I'm not familiar with the contracts, but it seems to make sense from a personnel standpoint for everyone involved.
