Hill's presence cant compensate our perimeter weakness .. Happy he's coming back but not thrilled.

Now we're becoming more of inside team after kobe went down .. Pau/Howard are our strength, and if Blake Meeks Jamison and MWP cant hit move off ball and make the threes we'll make the job easier for Spurs or whomever defense..

And for the hill/Farried thing.. For the lakers, Hill fits better.. If hill wasnt injured, this season would've been a spark for him.. In the preseason he showed some consistency from mid range. Which we actually need ,and it gives space for Howard if we ever ran them together. From sitting in the Bench last year till the playoffs to improving his game the beginning of the season, i cant see why he wouldnt develop his game as the season went on ..

I don't expect him to be on form or his stamina to be top notch right now.

Wouldn't be surprised if he played between 5-6 minutes or no minutes at all.  Unless Jamison is really sucking and we're not getting offensive rebounds and Gasol or Howard are getting rest.

Amazing he's back, but at the same time I don't expect much.

@LakersReporter 15m

I asked @jordanchill43 if he were a medical marvel, cutting his exp. return time in half (6 months to 3): "You could say that," he grinned.

@LakersReporter 14m

Mike D'Antoni said he may very well use Hill in limited fashion tonight, depending on how the game goes. Meeks (ankle) is a ? mark.

@LakersReporter 10m

Hill is very excited about the prospect of playing, helping. He originally thought he was out for the season, but healed very quickly.

@LakersReporter 8m

The return of Hill makes the @kobebryant injury stand out more from a "what if" perspective. LAL just hasn't been whole all season.

@LakersReporter 6h

Hill has been participating in full contact drills for the past few practices, and had no set backs. As such, LAL cleared him to play.

In Game 1, Earl Clark played 11 minutes with just 1 rebound, 1 foul and nothing else. Hill could eat some of those minutes.

Excellent. Hopefully MDA isn't too stubborn and actually plays him.

why are we endangering next season for this lost season. we ran kobe into the ground, we are bringing back hill 3 months early, nash is playing hurt

all for a likely first round exit.

all we are doing is hurting next season. we aren't winning the championship.

So we should throw in the towel and not even try?

Dwight Howard and Jordan Hill taking turns throwing some big dunks down in warm ups. Howard is getting waaaay up tonight.

So we should throw in the towel and not even try?

or be smart about it and not do things like play players in their 17th season 45 min, bring back players 3 months early, play 39 year olds who can barely move

you know, stupid things

6 minutes

2 points 2 rebounds 1 offensive rebound.

Doesn't have his explosiveness though.  Very apparent.

Still, him diving for the ball after that particular injury tells a lot about him.
