When Phil was here, he wrote up some beautiful out-of-bound plays for last second shots. Kobe was able to get open.
With MDA and Eddie Jordan, it seems like it they just want to get Kobe in an isolation.

ya, mda hasnt really drawn up plays. JUST GET KOBE THE BALL AND CLEAR OUT - not really a play

Yep. He's drawn up some decent plays this year.
Tonight he had the ball in Nash's hands and he made the decision to pass to Kobe for an iso.

The play when they were coming out of the timeout in the 4th was beautiful. Pall to Kobe, backsreen to Nash, Nash cuts to the basket, defense rotates over, Jamison cuts from the corner for a wide open layup.

Too bad that happens once every blue moon. It's amazing Jamison even got his legs up for that play.

Phil used decoys so much better.
The game winner vs Sacramento was a genius play. Had Pau catch the inbound pass so he can make an easy pass, then have Sasha as the decoy (causing the defense to collapse), while using Kobe as the screener. If Kobe couldn't get the ball, 2 other guys were wide open for the 3 pointer.
Even in Phoenix, I don't think I've seen D'Antoni draw up something that good.

It's just the system. We can't run the Phoenix offense anymore, Nash is good but he's 39 years old, and we don't need him to create for Kobe and Dwight. What we do need to do is use Nash's shooting ability to stretch the floor when the offense runs through Kobe and Dwight, and use his playmaking abilities in pick and roll situations. A little bit of the Steve Nash offense is fine, but right now D'Antoni isn't making the most effective use of the talent we have on this team.

when they come out timeouts & setup Kobe to take corner 3 = he usually makes it. good drawn up play.
when they draw up plays for Nash & or MWP out of timeouts = thats when Lakers commit turnovers & wasted possessions
