Am I the only one who thinks that we don't have to give Pau away to get Tyreke?

you're not alone

Big to Small is bad trade :bleh: and furthermore we are not sure if Tyreke is comfortable at coming off the bench

you don't want to see player falling like Jamison and Steve Blake 2.0

We need to acquire players that complement what we have.

Can Tyreke guard players like Chris Paul, Tony Parker, and Westbrook? Since hes a pretty big PG is he any good at D. we can play a line up with
Nash
Tyreke
Kobe
Pf
Howard

and tyreke would take nashs man.

hes not a good defender, but he could try..

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

I would assume a 6'6' PG would be able to guard effectively. Guess not. All I know is that he has crazy handles and drives in for all of his points. I never watched him really play but I heard he's been in decline because of injury and lack of development.

Tyreke is not the answer, 25% 3-point shsooter for his career. We need guys to stretch the floor, and penetrate and attack the basket

uh... helloooooo? Are you oblivious..? Tyreke penetrates and attacks the basket.
If he can develop a jump shot he could easily average 21-24 pts. (not on the lakers).

You don't trade Pau for Evans UNLESS its a bigger trade that brings us more pieces including Evans.

Acquiring another guard isn't an issue right now, we've got more glaring issues to address.

Three team trade that unloads steve blake or anyone else and bring back solid PF and Evans.

That's what would need to happen to make it a good trade.

People think unloading Pau for anything is a good trade and its not. Has to bring back the right pieces

Which is exactly why I think the Lakers are making a run at Rudy Gay under the radar.

Rudy Gay or Tyreke Evans?
If you had a chance to get either what would you go for?

Evans is best as a ball-handler, it'd be best if we could have him come off the bench to limit Nash's minutes.

Rudy Gay without question.

Athletic wing who can score and can also D up well enough because of his athleticism.

Plus, (until this year) he's never been injury prone.

Thats why i said we need guys to stretch the floor. Tyreke does not stretch the floor. Obviously i know tyreke can penetrate, but remember the will be clogged with Dwight. Read comments from Kings fans. Tyreke needs to be the primary ball handler on the team to be effective. Ever since he's been playing off the ball he has not been as effective. Im not saying hes not a good player, just might not be the right fit for this team...and develop a jump shot huh? How long are we supposed to wait for that?
