He's trying but he's body and mind is declining causing momentum loss on his part.I didn't say how Jamison played. I said how he should play.
Good things are coming the Lakers' way

Against Houston, we came out to a good start and showed glimpses of good D. Against SAS, we held in there for the entire game and played some good D at the end but couldn't knock down shots. Now, the Lakers can put it all together on Friday vs OKC. Lets see.
Hung in there? They were down over 10 in the 4th, til San Antonio quit playing.

The refs dont give assistance to Kobe, D12, nor the Lakers. So without that type of help we will continue to lose close gms down stretch of 4th. cuz the refs hate period.

We didn't show heart. The Spurs just lost interest in the final 5 minutes. They practically handed us a win and we couldn't take it.
You're a glass half empty kind of person aren't you?

It will be a Blake'out game for us when he returns.

The only good thing coming our way is 2013 Training Camp.
Whether "good things" are coming depends on perspective and what level of hopefulness or hopelessness you have. The "go for broke" approach that the FO has pursued in the last few years has resulted in a poorly conceived roster, high payroll and inflexibility. Sure hope this scenario does not play out, but lets look at a possible (bad) scenario:
-Lakers miss the POs this year (very likely)
-Dwight keeps playing this year and is better but not fully recovered next year (possible) OR Dwight signs elsewhere (possible but less likely)
-Have only a second round pick in the 2013 draft, cannot land any impact player (likely)
-Nash continues to get injured, next year missing multiple games, his skills are dimished and slowed by age even when he he does play (possible to likely)
-MWP is not amnestied in the off season, continues to fancy himself a 3p threat, continues to play matador defense (very likely)
-Kobe is slowed by age, nagging injuries next year (possible to likely)
-Already paying one fired coach the remainder of his $10m salary, Jimmy B refuses to fire another coach and eat the remainder of his $12m salary (likely)
-Lakers have lousy 2014 and 2015 seasons (possible), maybe even lottery eligible but have no meaningful draft picks until 2016

Seems likely. At least LBJ is a free agent the same season Kobe and everyone else come off the books.
