No one was talking about this guy 24 hours ago
its not like jordan hill where everyone knew he was beast, and coach brown kept him on the bench
when clark had been in this season, he gave nothing...
At the beginning of the season some of us thought he had potential
When dantonie was hired, we thought he MIGHT get a chance, but he did not...
Anyways, we should expect to see more of Clark in the short term...
People keep saying he is the backup 3...
He is a PF perfect for dantonie...
Clark/Hill as the 4/5 combo would be a great dantonie lineup
i made this thread before last nights game. i liked the way he rebounded/cut on O in the first game, thought our 2nd unit's boo boo offense could use the 2nd chances. all last nights game did was cement the fact that his rebounding and now DEFENSE would really help the 2nd unit, anything he gives on offense will be a very inconsistent plus.
and i think we need him at the 3 because, 1. we dont have a backup SF 2. we have too many PFs 3. we need Pau/Dwight at center to tun the offense through.

Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?

No no, slow your horses there, not everyone, just a very select few and I remember you being a part of them. Credit to you. Outside of you and a very few others here, if anything, Hill was always getting clowned on. I remember well.its not like jordan hill where everyone knew he was beast, and coach brown kept him on the bench

No no, slow your horses there, not everyone, just a very select few and I remember you being a part of them. Credit to you. Outside of you and a very few others here, if anything, Hill was always getting clowned on. I remember well.
But there were people who looked at the past games hill had, saw he had talent that translated to the box scores, and knew Murphy and McRoberts were not better then him... The majority of Laker and Baketball fans knew Hill could ball
There was NO INDICATION in 3 plus seasons that Earl Clark could have a monster game like this... when he came out of college, he was supposed to be a Lamar Odom type, and he did nothing for 3 years... was condisidered dead weight and jetisonned from the Suns, and was on his way out of the NBA until he went with Howard to the lakers, where he was still on his way out of the League, until this past game... now, he has a chance..
With Hill, there was a build up, from the time he was aquired, when he rode the bench for a month, up to the breakout game when Mike Brown just decided to try him out...
Earl Clark is a total breakout, from out of nowhere player... Like Ariza... a total unknown. Even Shannon Brown was famous for his hops before he became a laker...

2 Transition 1 with pull up jumper and 1 with lay up
sounds good to me unlike Darius hit trying to be an acrobatic player like Derrick Rose in transition
