^Well, when that's all you have to work with, that's who you play. Nash was hurt IIRC, MWP is a starter so he is theoretically one of the better players, Jamison was signed as the big gun off the bench, Hill is a quality big man (and better at this point in his career than the starter he subbed for) and Howard is Howard. So unless you want to play Kobe more than 40 MPG, that's what Brown had to work with.

Mike Brown couldn't win even with full training camp. He doesn't deserve any slack.

How about a third seed, and actually MAKING the playoffs. That sounds pretty good right now.

I have been thinking that for a while..... If we do fail to make the playoffs it cannot be blamed on Mike Brown or Bernie ..... Mike D'antoni's ass will be in the hottest seat ever.

In my opinion, we had NO fight with Mike Brown. We looked listless. With D'Antoni, we just played dumb ball.

Yeah, I kinda miss his inspiring & encouraging faces he'd make on the sideline when the Lakers were in trouble.

Mike Brown gets the W. He's chillin' somewhere in his mansion still getting millions from us, while watching D'Antoni make us look even worse.

Are you kidding me? Our roster last year was garbage outside of Kobe and Bynum. Jordan Hill was our arguably 3rd best player. Pau was getting destroyed by Faried in the 1st round, Metta was suspended/ out of shape all year, Barnes sucked in the playoffs like usual, and we had Troy [expletive]in Murphy and Josh McRoberts. Garbage ass team last year.

That was last year with a different roster. With this roster he went 1-12 in preseason and regular season. Thats a win % of 8.3% with a training camp .Extrapolate that win % to the rest of the season we win about 6-7 games. D'antoni is 10-14 that is a win % of 41.6% without training camp or preseason. It's not great but much better than Brown.

You could argue that, I don't necessarily agree. Either way it's obvious one was significantly more trashy than the other.
