Sad but true pop could probably sit the starters and we would still lose. At this point missing the playoffs would be best because we would probably get swept

Pop always uses the first game against us to see what we've got and never plays maximum minutes.

If we're leading by 5-8 by halftime Pop may cut some of his players minutes and take the second half off.

That said, this is going to be a hard game. But I don't expect San Antonio to "run us" out of the gym. It will be half court vs half court.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.


You should reach more often ;)

Pop SHOULD rest his starters. At least he'd have a more justifiable excuse to Stern of saying he was trying to make the game more competitive/watchable.
