yeah. But guy still has to make them. Looks at Meeks.
He is a journeyman, not a savior. Got exactly what they signed up for in Meeks.

The teams issues were addressed in the off-season with the things people felt we needed.
We needed another scorer for our bench so that Blake wouldn't be considered the main guy on it.
We got Meeks And we got Jamison and we resigned Jordan Hill
We got Dwight Howard too
We needed a point guard that was actually a good PnR point guard
We got Steve Nash
The only thing the office didn't count on was Ebanks being useless for another season and Jamison completely going crops up and Gasol after looking spectacular in the olympics to come into camp out of shape and playing the worst basketball of his career.
They also didn't count on Nash getting injured early and Blake going down with an injury all in the same week.
And quite honestly neither did anyone else.
Our front office did everything they could.
The only thing the front office could do now is trade Gasol for other pieces.
But there's bigger issues that you CAN'T predict when you're in the front office.
From their standpoint they did pretty much everything they could do to make this team. The stuff that's happened NO ONE can predict, the only thing they could do is trade Gasol now. But that's all the "front office" should HAVE to do.
The rest is up to the players and always has been
I completely agree, Majesty. Nobody expected to this happen at all. The FO has tried its best to give the Lakers its best chance to win. The only thing they can do now is trade Gasol for pieces.

hey that's cool. Still doesn't change what I said.I was just being sarcastic, since Pau has been our "scapegoat" this season
People act like pau is Luke Walton FFS.

All I've read is excuses. I have seen nobody in the entire organization take responsibility or be accountable and ren act positively against that all season long.
That was not the way the Lakers were in the past.
Yes, they did all they could to a point then thought (even afte last season's obvious problems) that the bench wasn't needed, even with the injury history and present of the stars they got.
To say this is all on the players is short-sighted. This junk is on EVERYONE from the court to Jerry Buss's office, everyone.
If you're gonna take the praise in success, you'd better be prepared to take the blame in failure.

Liked the intensity we played with and liked the aggression from Nash to score and Kobe was kobe.
The one and only truest disappointment in this game that I just can't wrap my mind around is Antawn Jamison. Who got more minutes tonight especially when Metta got in foul trouble and did absolutely nothing with them.
No effort defensively or rebounding(aside from one play in the first quarter)
Not looking to post up
Not looking to be the active cutter
Settling for jump shots that aren't going in
And all around lack of everything especially in the crucial stretches when he HAD to play.
Jamison was the biggest disappointment tonight, nearly everyone stepped up except the veteran we got to be the DEPENDABLE bench performer.
THAT is my biggest disappointment tonight.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Isn't that telling you that the entire team and by that matter the way they're coached is at fault?
This is not some minor night by night problem.

We'll see.

WHAT THE HECK!?!?! Where was this the entire rest of the game Morris?
He was on the bench most of the game.

They also hired the wrong coach, twice, have say back ignoring the issues on the team whiletey continued to fall and they've done nothing to call te team out for their play.

I have a question, fido, who is the right coach for this team then?

Have you noticed now that after every game you blame somone else (besides Kobe)?
Isn't that telling you that the entire team and by that matter the way they're coached is at fault?
This is not some minor night by night problem.
Kobe isn't the problem. That's why.
Everyone tonight as far as I'm concerned stepped up their play except him. He gave us the same bull he gave us for 4 straight games before D'antoni finally sat him.
Everyone else under the situation tonight played their heart out and with intensity. Jamison showed none what so ever.
Like I said, I look for effort and determination win lose or draw. Jamison wasn't even jumping after rebounds, he wasn't being vocal defensively, he didn't look to post up in mismatches, he wasn't an active cutter, he made one defensive play in the first quarter and never looked to do it again.
We know pretty much what to expect with each player on this team. Kobe gives me what I expect from him. So he isn't a let down.
I expected Jamison to actually come out and play with a fire, play with the fire of a guy that doesn't get many minutes and feels he DESERVES to be out there.
I watched Earl Clark do that tonight
I watched Robert Sacre do that tonight
I watched everyone go out there and play with a fire and play their hearts out except jamison.
So Jamison is going to be the one I call out. Because he to me is the guy that played BELOW all of his standards tonight. It was despicable and disappointing to watch.
I have a question, fido, who is the right coach for this team then?
He'll say Sloan or Phil Jackson and is still pissed the Lakers didn't get either.

You should of seen him in preseaon. He played 55 minutes total and committed 14 fouls. That is almost an average of 1 foul per 4 minutesSacre is a AND1 machine for the opposing team.
