If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

They'll probably keep Dwight out till Miami if Pau can still play well to that point
So much for that.

Debby Wong/USA TODAY SportsThe Lakers have lost all three games they have played without both Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard.{C}The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot riding on the results of an MRI Wednesday after forward Pau Gasol felt a pop in his right foot late in Tuesday's road win over the Brooklyn Nets. Gasol was preliminarily diagnosed with a strained plantar fascia, but an MRI scheduled after the team travels to Boston will reveal more about the severity of the injury.
The difference for the Lakers hinges on whether Gasol tore the plantar fascia, which has bothered him this season. A strain is a tear, but in practice teams use "tear" to describe a more serious version of the injury. That's backed up by looking at the recent history of both injuries.
Of the eight players my research found in the 2000s who were listed with a "torn" plantar fascia -- including Chicago's Rip Hamilton and Toronto's Alan Anderson so far this season -- half of them missed almost exactly a month. Three others missed three weeks, while the last player (Golden State's Troy Murphy in 2003-04) was sidelined for a month and a half. By contrast, two of the four players said to have "strained' their plantar fascia were able to return within a week and a half.
That difference could be crucial for the Lakers for a couple of reasons. The first, obviously, is that the Lakers need Gasol in the lineup. That's especially true because Dwight Howard's availability is a question mark as he deals with a sprained shoulder and the Lakers are already without third big man Jordan Hill due to season-ending hip surgery.{C}
Article by Kevin Pelton.
Basically, if it's torn he's out for about a month, if it's a strain he's out for about 10 days.

Plantar Fascitis strain??? Didn't know that was an actual diagnosis. Lol when people make up diagnosis, which don't exist.
Mods, please update thread title appropriately, it should read "strain of the plantar fascia" or "plantar fascia strain". Plantar Fascitis is a condition itself.

That's after all-star break. If Dwight returns soon and through then we'll be fine
