Dwight goes down and the Lakers are screwed, even against bad and middling teams. I can see the future and it is painful.

Mike Bresnahan @Mike_Bresnahan
Dwight Howard is officially day-to-day with a sore shoulder.#Lakers
Day to day leads to game time decision.
Good news.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Good news though. No way does Kobe let him sit out a game because of a sore shoulder.

Man, if being diagnosed with a "sore right shoulder" is an injury, I would be on the injury report all the time.
Good news though. No way does Kobe let him sit out a game because of a sore shoulder.
Yup, because a little sore shoulder is all he has.
Not like he has a torn labrum or anything... That got [expletive]ing hacked against Phoenix.

Yes and then beasley gave the guy that hacked Howard's shoulder a high five.
It was Shannon Brown.
Don't think it was a "hey we injured Dwight, high five!" type of deal though. Think it was just because he knocked the ball out.

Then again if we got pekovic instead of Pau it would likely happen less
Anyway when the camera went to the locker room on dwight with his arm wrapped and him crouched in a corner with his hands on his head he looked depressed, like he was blaming himself getting hurt for the Lakers loss. Hard to deal with when you physically arent yourself and now he's getting knocked out of games.
Can't begin to imagine how hard this has been for Dwight.

There is no comparison between a Kobe injury and anyone else's.
Kobe's mental capacity to play through pain is unparalleled. I remember when Kwame sprained his ankle on 12/31/06 and Kobe acted like he could coach Kwame into good health within a matter of days.
I think Kwame missed about 2 months and was never the same again after that injury.
Kobe's shoulder > Dwight's shoulder

Kwame not being the "same" after an injury is relative.

I know this. The media is misleading the injury, though. I hope he plays to body up against Pek. Pau will get eaten alive.Yup, because a little sore shoulder is all he has.

Kwame not being the "same" after an injury is relative.
He played the best ball of hs career from about January 2006 until that night he injured his ankle. He was actually pretty effective for us during that span.
And tbh, the Lakers were off to a very solid start that season, and then things fell apart after the first of the year (after Kwames injury).
It's fun to joke about Kwame, but the facts are actually much more interesting than the jokes.
