What if...the Lakers staged a mutiny and just ran the triangle without MDA's input?

Some might not like the precedent they'd be setting, but I'd love to see this team win a few ballgames. Right now, they look worse than the Gary Payton-Karl Malone Lakers.

It's late on Saturday night and it's raining, so my mind is going crazy.

Wasn't that team running the triangle?
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

OFFENSE IS NOT A PROBLEM
It's more of a problem than you think. Look at the turnovers. Look at the number of 3 point shots. A 3 point shooting team rarely does well in the NBA. Dwight's not getting the ball where it's easy to score. Kobe is working too much. Back-up point guards don't know what to do. Long 3 point shots lead to long rebounds, which lead to fastbreak points for the opposing team.
Believe me, the offense is a problem.

those 3 point shots are just apart of the system we run now
we dont run a half court system anymore

The sheer fact that we were able to fight back into games where neither the three point shot or interior shot were falling with regularity is an amazing thing in itself.

Well a lot of us have this fantasy that the Lakers magically would get better if Phil was coaching the team. The triangle would be a part of that fantasy.Lol OP has some silly fantasy were the Lakers magically would get better if we started using the triangle.
