We try another way for a while, but problem is guys don't knock down shots consistently enough, even open great looks too so Kobe gets discouraged and feels the only way for us to even have a shot is to start playing that way again. Just not deep enough. Not enough consistent knock-down shooters to make teams pay on the doubling or too much attention on our top guys. This Kobe ball/ system/ whatever is loser ball.

Why does Dwight only get 7 shots??
Because the other 10 touches that he received were either fumbled for a turnover, stripped for a turnover, or just not caught, resulting in the turnover.

25 rebounds that resulted in a loss....
See.. in professional sports, the team with the highest score at the end of the game WINS..
Denver scored 112 Lakers scored 105...
If the winner was determined by the individual player with the highest rebounds then the lakers would have won.
How many games has Bynum won for the sixers this year

Glad to see fans finally getting upset. Complacency and blind optimism isn't what this organization needs. They need a kick in the butt by everyone because they can't do it for themselves.

26 boards is 26 boards. That's dominating. If you don't think controlling the boards at that rate, at an NBA level, isn't dominating.. then you have a lot to learn.

1) We fire Mike D'Antoni, we made the biggest mistake by not hiring Phil Jackson... Yeah, this isn't gonna happen. I get it
2)Trade Pau Gasol
3)Everyone is 100% Healthy
We're on track to complete destruction and turmoil. The team that was built to "win now" is failing horribly. We are the laughing stock of every other team, there fans, and players. Mike D'Antoni wasn't the answer. Steve Nash didnt fix anything. This system is not for us. Pau Gasol is just terrible. Our defense as a team is terrible. The lakers are just terrible man. This is annoying.
Mike D'Antoni is GARBAGE.

Damn, Mike D'Antoni's comments, body language, and look on his face is starting to resemble very much that of Mike Brown's in his last few days.
Could it be???

Liked our all around body language as a team early.
The problems with this team are going to be more apparent as the other people start to come around.
Dwight is starting to look like Dwight again minus the two bad plays at the end of the game he was running the floor and almost had a career high in rebounding.
Kobe had a bad night till it came time to close and was amazing in the close as usual.
Gasol was aggressive for a half, and did nothing in the 2nd half.
Duhon was alright till the defense realized he wasn't going to take or make any shots so they locked down defensively and Duhon was unable to contribute anything at that point.
Hill was strong, what else is new
Meeks was good early, got cold late, hustled, but his defense leaves something to be desired.
Obvious problems that need to go on this team are Gasol, and our bench point guard.
One of the biggest issues when it comes to our bench point guard is that with Morris he's turnover prone and inexperienced.
With Duhon he's experienced but he is NOT a scoring threat so teams can play riskier defense they can't get away with when someone like Nash is in.
We have no bench 3 unless you count Jamison..and just no at that point.
What we need is a bench 3 and a bench 1 that can score.
This is why getting Barea and Williams from Minnesota and Ariza from Washington is probably the best trade option the Lakers are gonna get and would help the team in each aspect.
Are you suggesting JJ @bench 1, Williams @starter4, Ariza @bench 3?
What about varejo? Insted of Williams?
