Are you trying to tell me that "If Kobe could pull himself out of alpha-dog mode than the team as a whole would be better" is a false statement? Judging by their record when he goes into "I'm just going to shoot it all night, no matter what" mode the team has a terrible winning percentage. Why does this not matter ? Why is this insignificant? Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?
Nash needs to shoot more, Dwight needs to make free throws and Kobe needs to be a decent team mate.

I'm guessing by the way history keeps repeating itself that they will most likely lose.

Smush Parker said he hated playing with Kobe.
Kobe made that guy look like a pretty good point guard.
I think you are wrong.

Bynum, Shaq, and Matt Barnes didn't like playing with Kobe either and I think a lot of other players didn't like playing with him either but didn't get the media involved... Watching that Clippers game last night and seeing a lot of our old players that used to wear Lakers jerseys out there playing with a chip on their shoulder says a lot to me

This is something someone brought to my attention not too long ago about Kobe and his affect on his team mates
Kobe calling out his team mates and having very bitter relationships with a lot of his team mates could be tearing the lakers inside out.
I don't think there are many players that have played with Kobe that said they enjoy playing with him at all. Every Ex Laker besides Fisher and Odom have had nothing but negative things to say when playing with Kobe.... and not wanting to play with someone can effect how they play as well...
Maybe that's why some games we come out playing with no heart... because players don't like playing with Kobe because of his attitude and how he treats his team mates... We really don't have players like Fisher or Odom to keep things under control in the Locker room anymore let alone to try to get everybody on the same page...
another thing that was brought to my attention from someone else is that when Kobe won.. It was always with Phil... and Phil came up with a system that would eliminate or cover up majority of everybody's weaknesses
but it's just a thought though and what T.I. said on First Take about being a Leader... I agreed with and Kobe isn't being the best leader he should be for this team
