This just doesnt look good to me at all. We lost to the Sixers and heading to the Clippers with a lack of confidence and then straight up to 4 other top contenders of the west. All of them have a playoff seed right now, exept us!


Will those games be the major factor of the january set plays of our Lakers? What do you think? Can we win those games ? Do you think we got what it takes to win those 5 games? Or will we lose them all and get blamed for it once again in shame???

They better not be MUST wins. We would do very well to go 3-2 in that stretch and 2-3 is probably the most likely scenario.

Absolutely, but they will probably go 1-4. This team has not defeated any quality team expect for NYK and DEN. It's up to the Lakers players, if they want to play in the postseason they better win out the next 7-8 games.

Defeating Denver and Houston is vital because of the standings position.

And winning 5 straight would mean we went 5-1 again which we'd have to do 5 more times to get to 45 wins so yes. I wouldn't mind a couple more 5-1 winning streaks and 2 weeks without a loss again. But we need to be consistent with the way we win. Dwight can't have another night he scores 7 against an interior defense so poor Jordan Hill by being aggressive alone got 10 points.

Agree its not the fact that we loss its how they lose games that is bad. I did not expect to go 20-0 but that loss that killed our streak was avoidable. Our bigs were not productive and lazy. But oh well sad to say its not the first or last.

Best chances are against rockets and Denver... Clippers are going to be pissed against us because they just lost 2 straight in blowouts so they need a bounce back game. SAS will kill us, And against OKC arghhhh

wow, all these 1-4 predictions really disappoint me.

Personally, I think the Lakers have been playing considerably better in their last 7 games. The two losses came on a B2B against Denver, and a three-day layoff( following NYE) at home.


I think championship teams lose those specific types of games every season.

The Clippers aren't playing well right now, we are better than Houston, we SHOULD beat Denver, we should lose to OKC but they just lost to Brooklyn and are vulnerable to loss, and San Antonio is a great team but I think they can be defeated for sure.

I predict 3-2
