Has pretty good reviews/ratings on rotten tomatoes & imdb.

I hear it's extremely vile though. I find that pretty shocking considering the actors cast in this film.

i could see how the one scene i thought was most hilarious would be a little vile (just based off of what they're arguing about), but it's just guy stuff

I'm a little surprised at just how good of reviews this movie's getting. I just expected a lot of critics to unfairly judge a lot of these guys & hold some kind of grudge against them. Nice to see that's not the case.

I'm not really sure what some of you expected out of this movie.  Evan Goldberg was a co-producer and he wrote Superbad, Pineapple Express, and came up with the Ali G show a few years ago.  His co-producer was Seth Rogan.

Of course it's going to filthy comedy.  That's not for everyone.

Luckily I have a girlfriend who loves movies like this so we'll be going to watch it next week

Because all celebrities know some times random events earn trillions so.....

barely achieving creativity knips

that in the bud.

That said the movie isn't anything less than you'd expect and if you're a fan of these guys you'll love it.

For those who have seen it, without giving too much away (spoilers), does it leave any possibility for a sequel?

Not really.

Might have been the funniest movie I have ever seen. I loved how they played themselves and their reactions to things were "realistic".

Like Game said, if you're a fan of these actors then you have to see it.

Considering how "vile" & "filthy" this movie is said to be by many, I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be any controversy coming out of it. Usually especially in this hardcore PC world we live in, you'd almost expect it now.

If I didn't smoke weed, I probably would hate all these movies, but the "pot humor" is what keeps these things going.

Seth Rogan has done way more than Pineapple Express. he has been doing his thing for a while in Hollywood, writing , behind the scenes and obviously acting.

green hornet was just BAD, and  a dumb idea, but I heard nothing but good things from this

This world isnt "hardcore PC"... Its just not appropriate to disrespect people anymore. So what if you go too far in defending rights...Its musch better than it used to be, when all you saw on tv was women being homemakers, black being servants of some kinds, and etc\

Have you seen Family Guy? There wasn't things on tv like that... So we get both ways. I would say The Soup id FAR from PC, and then there's the who;e internet, so um yeah

end rant
