But when it comes down to it, the streak doesn't matter unless you win it all in the end

Would be quite interesting if closing out the season they start slowing down while we pick up steam. Which looks to be the case.
Doesn't seem like the Lakers are really interested about the top seed they just want to make sure they MAKE the playoffs and to peak right when they are entering so that they can carry all that momentum throughout.
So if we're the 4th or 5th seed and chemistry is perfect and Dwight is looking like DWIGHT. Then they would rather enter the playoffs that way. Which is a good idea. I don't want us to go 20-0 and then lose in the playoffs. If we go 20-0 I want it to be end season AND playoffs!! To get it put on a ring
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

No need to dump on accomplishments from other teams.

hope this doesnt come back to bite him just like when he was asked if he knew about Jeremy Lin
Not the same thing
Kobe said he knew who Lin was but didn't keep up with what was going on with the Knicks.

Who would you have shooting free throw in a playoff game? Blake or D12? D. Jordan ain't too good either.

Also matters when you peak.

We can be the #8 seed and I still wouldn't bet against this Lakers team.
I'll take my chances on a team that features Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Dwight Howard, and Pau Gasol.

What a road to the Finals that would be — Start with the top seed LAC, then 4/5 which right now is GS and MEM. In the WCF would most likely be the 2/3, which could be OKC or SAS. Then the icing on the cake, face MIA in the Finals. That would be legendary if the Lakers pull it off.We can be the #8 seed and I still wouldn't bet against this Lakers team.

I am a die hard Niner Dodger and especially Lakers fan. I don't see how you can say I like the Clippers or I like Raiders or I like the Angels. I don't care to hear well they also represent the city, because in my eyes they don't and I always want the Clippers to loose unless it effects our team in a positive way for them to winAgreed. Here in NY no die-hard fan can root for both Yankees+Mets, or Giants+Jets, or Knicks+Nets, etc.
