We beat these guys in a 7 game series 4-2 IMO
Based on what? Your hopes? ANY measureable metric would suggest that the Lakers would lose and lose decisively.

Today we stand no chance. I hope Crawford torches the former defensive player of the year (MWP) again on Friday night so Mitch might realize that this team desperately needs athleticism and perimeter D.
Once again, I would never hope for one our players to get torched just to prove/disprove something. Also, we can't assume Mitch is lazing around his office eating donuts, have trust in the guy. As for the Clippers, lets how well they do when the game is slowed down.

Even after projecting what the Lakers will be at the end of the season though, I think I'd still give the Clippers the advantage.
I see the Lakers improving. Other than the Denver game, the Lakers have been improving on defense. I think their offense was already alright before Nash got back, and it's been even better with Nash back.
But, I think the Lakers' upside is limited with the lack of speed on this team. It really hurts the Lakers defensively.

It basically comes down to saying
If we play like we did against the Blazers we torch them 4-2.
If we play like we did against Denver we would lose.
Our team has yet to find the consistency or identity to be able to say. We'll see where we are by the end of January.
I've always liked Steve Blake.
