:whatthe: cant ,trade, players who cant play. jamison wont play much in the next 5 games, and he'll then be open to a trade.

Actually you can. Just depends on what else is out there. Picks can be gotten for our bench fodder. That's what Mitch is going for right now. Clark, Ebanks and Duhon are all trade priorities to him before Jamison ever would be.

Jamison is just want he wants, a veteran and small contract that can be used in matchups against another team capable of putting up 10-15 even on an inconsistent night and can stretch the floor.

Clark, Ebanks and Duhon are end of the bench players that will never get any play time at any time whatsoever. Mitch isn't going to trade Jamison and leave Clark, Ebanks and Duhon on the team. It would be bad business and a dumb move on his part.

Mitch is smarter than that.

bad business is another team giving up draft picks for players who wont play for them...................... :tease:

Kobe and Randle led Lakers lead the team to a 32-50 record. the Lakers select Myles Turner with the 5th pick.

Ebanks could find playing time on a roster that thinks they can develop him, and he won't get much playtime here. He's lengthy, has "somewhat" of a defensive reputation and "potential" I'm sure Mitch could find a team that would bite.

Yep, don't see why he couldn't have gotten a crack at the rotation tonight.

I know they obviously play very different positions, but just from an ego standpoint, how must Jamison feel knowing he can't get any burn whatsoever and a guy like Darius freakin' Morris (what the heck has he ever accomplished in this league?) starts!

yo.

Because Pau would have complained about getting benched again in the 4th.

He was inside because of his playmaking.

The only docile person tonight in the 4th was Howard, but if D'antoni had sat Howard and put in Jamison we'd have been in a worse place defensively despite all the looks Howard gave up.

So it's sort of a double edged sword in that scenario isn't it.

Jamison wouldn't have saved us tonight. He'd have probably hit the same shot Metta did and it wouldn't have mattered what he or Kobe did because Dwight still would have left Hawes open every single time to help defend someone 5 steps away that he had no business rotating over to. Dwight let down tonight and Gasol was more aggressive than him. And the words Pau Gasol played more aggressively than Dwight Howard should never be uttered by anyone, anywhere. Hopefully he never gives me a reason to have to say it again, but he was a disappointment tonight down the stretch and in terms of never looking for his shot the entire game.

The play Kobe threw the ball away on? Was after a Howard screen where Howard is supposed to look for the pass and cut to the basket.

Howard set the screen, Kobe went through and passed it, Howard kept running not looking at Kobe, or the basket, nor wanting nor expecting the pass. The pass fell behind Howard and it was a turnover.

Dwight was coasting on the offensive end and late in the game on the defensive end. Hence my disappointment.

Jamison doesn't save that.
