Yep, don't see why he couldn't have gotten a crack at the rotation tonight.
Because Pau would have complained about getting benched again in the 4th.
He was inside because of his playmaking.
The only docile person tonight in the 4th was Howard, but if D'antoni had sat Howard and put in Jamison we'd have been in a worse place defensively despite all the looks Howard gave up.
So it's sort of a double edged sword in that scenario isn't it.
Jamison wouldn't have saved us tonight. He'd have probably hit the same shot Metta did and it wouldn't have mattered what he or Kobe did because Dwight still would have left Hawes open every single time to help defend someone 5 steps away that he had no business rotating over to. Dwight let down tonight and Gasol was more aggressive than him. And the words Pau Gasol played more aggressively than Dwight Howard should never be uttered by anyone, anywhere. Hopefully he never gives me a reason to have to say it again, but he was a disappointment tonight down the stretch and in terms of never looking for his shot the entire game.
The play Kobe threw the ball away on? Was after a Howard screen where Howard is supposed to look for the pass and cut to the basket.
Howard set the screen, Kobe went through and passed it, Howard kept running not looking at Kobe, or the basket, nor wanting nor expecting the pass. The pass fell behind Howard and it was a turnover.
Dwight was coasting on the offensive end and late in the game on the defensive end. Hence my disappointment.
Jamison doesn't save that.

cant ,trade, players who cant play. jamison wont play much in the next 5 games, and he'll then be open to a trade.
