Pau can always do this, hopefully he is finally realizing that he CAN. I hope to see the intensity continue throughout the season.

How surprising...
How about that dunk attempt that got blocked by 2 players from Philly since Pau has no elevation??????????????? was that a gr8 move as well?

Same thing happened to Dwight three times.
Neither of the bigs stepped up tonight, sad thing was Gasol was more actively looking for his shot than Dwight was. he needs to do better.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

I only remember 1 possible dunk attempt by D12 that got blocked but it wasnt pinned like Pau was. when were the other 2?
They weren't dunks, they were times he put up soft layups.
He made one field goal the entire night out of 7. 3 of them were blocked. It was not a good performance by him. he stopped looking for his shot early on and later on. Notice when he set the screen for Kobe then ran off it and Kobe expected him to expect the pass for the cut to the basket, so he threw it at Dwight, but Dwight so not intent on looking for his shot didn't even see the pass and kept running with his back turned to the play? He was...disengaged late in the game on both ends, and it really cost us.
Kobe pretty much said after the game that Dwight needs to learn what works and what doesn't for his body right now and go with that. Because he understands it's rough for him NOT being the same guy right now.
Perfect time to work on other aspects of his game to become a more complete center rather then waiting for his athleticism to come back and bail him out.

both bigs need to take a page from David Lee & mimic how you can be dominate & effective on both sides of the ball without displaying much athleticism & explosiveness. Lee knows the game & has fully committed to his role/niche. he stays within his real ability & doesnt try things that just not in his arsenal. he attacks quickly & is very deceptive. Pau especially should try to mimic since he has not lift in his legs. D12 until he is fully healthy needs to show more finesse around the hoop cuz he misses far to many ez ops worrying about the foul contact trying to dunk or conert attemtps that make his shot harder than it really needs to be.
