You really are young, man. That's not what he's saying. People have responsibilities that far outweigh the luxuries of being a fan. Have you paid for every sporting event that youve ever been to?Stop being a drama queen. It's a tough loss, but throwing in the towel in January is pretty pathetic on your part and selling tickets to a game is even more so. True fans don't do that. Trust me being a Cowboys fan I've seen my share of dissapointments and never have I selled tickets I had. If I had tickets to a Lakers game no way would I sell them.

are those good seats? I never been to a game. The ticket are in Section 110.
The reasons you state are the reason I don't go to games. It's a lot of cash.
I could use that for numerous things around the house( yes I have a house). Property taxes just about kill me.
Doesn't make me or fido any less of a fan.

He is indeed. He'll (hopefully) learn as he gets older. Although there are people out there wiser at his age, just cut him some slack. That's just the way he is right now. Most people on this board already know. You really are young, man.

True but Phil would come up with some sort of defensive plays down the stretchI don't understand why are you guys blaming Mike D'Antoni on this loss. Even if Phil was coaching this team, the Lakers would still suck on defense AND play lazy basketball.

WhatUSaid: Damn straight man. We had season tickets at the Forum from '89 to '98 (yes right between the championship years, it was a bummer) but when they moved to Staples they priced me and a lot of other people out of the building. And no, I'm not sitting upstairs, which is essentially sitting 5 stories above the court, and its steep as hell. For a guy who doesn't like heights, its pointless. So when I can get tickets its a very rare privilege. I got these tickets thinking it would be worth it. and right now its not worth it whatsoever. So instead of being frustrated at the loss of my hard-earned cash and my time, I'd rather take the money and actually pay my utility bill on time.

HOWEVER he played lazy defense on cutters, he played lazy defense on Hawes who isn't going to try to take it to him in the post and would leave Hawes every single time wide open for a mid range shot which is the only chance Hawes ever has to score on Howard.
Dwight obviously knows this. But when he's mentally checked out and wants to give the illusion he is playing good defense, he overhelps, leaving one of his teammates on an island to rotate over and stop the guy he left 5 steps away and then will look at them as if they messed up the assignment. No... Dwight did.
Those last plays where Dwight constantly left Hawes open in the corner was as obvious as it gets of a guy that's mentally checked out.
That plus Dwight never looked for his shot, when Dwight is mentally out of it he will do three things.
1) He will look at the ref to call fouls for him.
2) He will overhelp on defense and look at his teammates for not rotating fast enough eventhough he leaves them in an impossible situation.
3)Make stupid fouls trying to anchor for position
Dwight did this all night and in the 4th quarter on 4 separate posessions he left Hawes wide open while he overhelped on defense.
THAT is what cost us tonight, the effort or lack their of, of Dwight Howard.
And when our 2nd leading scorer only has one field goal and isn't looking for his shot while also being our main anchor on defense and doing the above 3 things, it will be hard game by any stretch of the imagination.
Disappointed in Dwight tonight. Extremely. Him not being healthy was NOT the reason he gave a half assed effort tonight.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often

Honestly if we had made like 2 more 3 we would have won. 3-22 killed us. We are a good 3 point shooting team so this is rare. I think the lack of pre sense from dwight hurt our outside shooting.
Cool. And if the sixers had made like 2 or 3 more they would have won by more. Speaking in hypotheticals is fun.

Embarrassing effort, this team is going nowhere if we keep on showing such a lack of urgency in games. I think we'll make playoffs for sure, but I haven't seen enough consistency to think that we can even get past the 2nd round. It's one thing to play your asses off and come up short, it's another to just not give a damn and go through the motions on the floor. No defense, no movement on offense, and just so many terrible decisions throughout the game. Just an ugly all-around game.

Is Mike D'Antoni volunteering for this job? He collects a very handsome check if I'm not mistaken.
When PJ coached the Lakers, we won 5 championships. Mike doesn't know anything about championship basketball.

My point is we never shoot from the 3 this bad. Even in a horrible game we normally would have won this. 3-22 is extremely rare for this team.Cool. And if the sixers had made like 2 or 3 more they would have won by more. Speaking in hypotheticals is fun.

we seems to have those all too often. That is what is worrying.Spencer Hawes + Lavoy Allen > Dwight Howard + Pau Gasol. This should never be the case.
