So because im not a coach cant have an opinion? Can you do better than Morris?

he's not CJ

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

You should reach more often ;)

I think Howard is starting to appreciate SVG and his defensive mindedness now that he's had some time away from him. I also think that D'Antoni being here could cause him to seriously think about walking if this season continues to be frustrating for him...

Cause that 5 game winning streak where we played defense well to get us into games and Howard acknowledged the team was finally starting to "get it" all dissipated after one loss?

Phil jackson never practiced defense either. IDK whats the big deal.Kobe said it the many years he was coached by him he may have run like 3 defensive drills ever.

the big deal is , a dpoy thinks Antoni is really hurting the team by not practicing D.

Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?

Tell me where Dwight said that please. It's NOWHERE in that article and Dwight was criticizing his "team mates" and not the coach. Not to mention they ran an entire film session on defense earlier today.

So please show me where Dwight said the Coach doesn't practice D :)

So what were suppose to all freak out fire our coach and do everything we can to please him. Man this is the lakers. He should feel honored to be on this team.People are way to worried about what dwight howard is feeling. He's just frustrated with his health. It will get better.

Yea but also these things may have been taken out of context which writers do often and it was his feelings after that frustrating game where they were getting no calls and the refs were killing him.

Again people get frustrated and he's right people werent playing good that night. They played much better on christmas day though. last game they were very tired and I think no one wanted to play that night. Honestly it was kinda of a dick move by the nba to have them play game of christmas day then fly all the way to denver for another the next day but what are you gonna do. We will see how they do tonight. If they win tonight well then obviously it was just a bad game. If they show the same struggles again then we can talk but its nothing that cant be fixed.

Our defensive woes are pure laziness on the players. How many times a game do you see guys not recover on the perimeter or get back in transition? Other than the last game against Denver, the help defense has actually seemed to improve.

You still haven't shown me where in the article Howard calls out D'antoni or says he doesn't coach defense.

Dwight was calling out his team mates and criticizing them for not helping each other.

D'antoni and Nash felt like it comes down to effort and giving it.

They had an entire film session on defense today to work on it and show the problems.

Howard probably agrees with Nash and D'antoni now about it.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
