Just because he can't spell doesn't mean he's wrong. Nets shooting went downhill this month. What can any coach do if his players cannot put the ball in the hoop?
This. Deron says he is a system player, but I don't think the triangle is the right system for him or the Nets who don't have any good post options.
yes and now suddenly he misses Sloan's system.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

I think this was too soon, theyve played bad for one month for the hoopla they were talking about slowly building a contender and being patient and then to go fire the coach that quick when I think it's really D-Wills fault why their playing so poorly was just too fast. Especially since they brought Avery in like 2 years ago to be their coach of the future when they got the squad they wanted.
yep played bad for one month with their main center injured.
Was a stupid cut. That's like the Bulls firing Tibbs because Rose is out.
if Rose came in and they went 9-1 and had the best record in the East and then Rose was injured and they went 5-10 do you think they'd fire TIbbs? No..
But the Nets fire Avery when he lost one of the major anchors of his team???
I won't bring race into it but... I've seen worse that coaches DON'T get fired through.
It's a shame.

Kelvin Sampson has emerged as a serious candidate to become the next head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, according to sources.
Sampson is an assistant with the Houston Rockets and did an impressive job as interim head coach while Kevin McHale was away on a personal matter with his ailing daughter.Sampson had a 7-6 record in McHale's absence.
Sampson has been praised for his ability to connect with star players.
