"People can be extremely positive of how you are performing and the job you are doing the entire regular season, the entire playoffs," Bryant said. "But if you lose in the Finals, you are the [expletive] worst. If you suck for the entire season and win the Finals, people don't give a [expletive] about what happened before then. It's all about what you do in the Finals.
"It doesn't matter what you do on Monday or Tuesday. It matters what you do in the Finals."

Kobe is right. Its not a bout what happened at the beginning of the season or yesterday and how our team got caught at the end of the west. Its about the result of the process!

I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."

A lot of people really don't get this. We need to make sure we are healthy enough to play strong when the playoffs come...it doesn't matter if we are the 8th seed...as long as this team gets healthy and are playing well, we CAN beat anyone in the league...

That doesn't happen without Nash. That doesn't happen without a HEALTHY Dwight.

This season won't be defined by our regular season W/L record. It will be defined by the number 16...that's how many wins we need in the playoffs...reach that goal and ll is forgiven. EVEN our abysmal start...

Same thing I said in the thread about resting Dwight...

I already knew this

It just some retard people who keeps on complaining about the Lakers.

I am much concern about the Age and the health of the players than their performance and winning rate

for me Age and Health > Performance and Winning Rate

and right now I'm a little bit concern about the minutes of Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash

too high for their Age unlike Tim Duncan who's playing in under of 30 Minutes per game by the age of 36.

This is a clear-cut shot at Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. I love it!

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Yea but to bad out below .500 record before wasnt good enough to even have a chance at playoffs. When we have to decent room to have losses we can rest guys more . Until then were playing just to make playoffs right now.

People have been comparing this Lakers squad to the 03-04 team, but I look to this year's Los Angeles Kings as the model. Started out slow, fired their coach, got into the playoffs as an 8th seed and then had a magical ride all the way to the Cup. This Lakers team can do it, though their margin of error is TINY.
