2008. C's.

I remember that game, it was the game when Ariza saved the out of the bounds pass and threw it back in and we scored off it and that set the tone for the ENTIRE game and we played with an intensity and toughness that we showed that we were a different team than the one they beat.

Was an awesome game, Ariza's hustle was big in it as was our all around play.

Knicks win. I see no reason why the game would be different than the game in NY. Even during this winning streak, the Lakers have looked like the same team. The Lakers can't defend them at all. They'll get on a huge run, then coast through the rest of the game.

We have our full lineup for once and the Knicks won't get out on the fastbreak as much? And Jordan Hill won't be out after 3 minutes with back spasms hopefully? We won't be seeing Jamison guarding Melo to start the game? Lots of stuff has changed. Our bench scoring is much better and has gotten consistent, and has averaged 36 ppg in the last 4 game win streak and 46 against Golden State. These are factors that matter especially with Nash being back. Our team still has things to work on but they have made SOME improvements and have come back twice in two hard games which does wonders for your confidence. Nash pretty much said it that it was important when guys didn't hold their heads and go "Oh not again.." And instead got more determined to win. The Charlotte win had a lot to do with it. It did wonders for our teams confidence to not get into a shell when things got tough, it carried over into the Warriors game and we responded in turn. That is the mentality we need when things get rough.

And if you've been watching the Knicks lately, their percentages are starting to go down and teams that have prepared for them have started exploiting their weaknesses. Hopefully the Lakers will do the same.

The Knicks aren't playing like the same Knicks team we faced in the Garden because that's hard to sustain for a full season, and we're bringing our full lineup this time around as well.

So there's a lot of chances for this game to be different.

Ultimately, it just comes down to defense when beating good teams.

And, I don't think the Lakers have the defense to beat NY. Felton will probably light up the Lakers like Jarrett Jack just did. The Lakers have nobody to defend Melo. The Lakers still allow those runs that allow teams to get big leads. This time, the Knicks will push the lead to where the Lakers can't catch up. That's been the only difference between the Lakers' losing streak and their current winning streak. The Lakers didn't face teams that could push the game out of reach like the other teams that beat the Lakers did.

The Bobcats got that big of a lead, but that was the Bobcats and it should be easier to come back against them.

They key is to stop Melo from scoring too much. Other than that, we will have a good chance to win.

Funny thing is, both teams are using Mike's offensive system. Let's see who wins.

I hope they win. I see no real reason that they will. They could have lost by 40 last game if Melo didn't go out. The team hasn't really showed me much improvements yet. We shall see.

Can anyone instruct me on how to download a video on here? I want to share a video clip from You Tube but don't have any idea how to do it. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Oh I wish

But the Knicks have been struggling the injuries they have seem to be catching up with them and their 3 point shooting has taken a slide in the last 4 or 5 games, so I think it's gonna be close I wouldn't be surprised with either team taking it today.

Japago, you have nothing but negative things to say about this team no matter if they win or lose. Lol. I'm not knocking you because maybe it is warranted in your mind to criticize this team because of their play so far in the season. I'm not guaranteeing a win at all but I do believe the Lakers can win this game. You make it seem like the Lakers will be a cake walk for the Knicks and LA is just some scrub team the Knicks will coast against. Either way, I'm sure we both hope to see the Lakers win today.

Actually, that doesn't have to be the game plan. If Melo goes off and looks to score every time down the floor then so be it. As long as the "others" don't go off (Smith, Novak, Kidd, etc.).
