What an awful trade. Isn't this the guy who suggested we trade Dwight?

Please explain WHY this is such a bad trade. People just say its bad with no explanation behind it. Nobody ever explains WHY. This trade would help us more than if we had only Gasol. Having Parsons & Asik without those other guys would help more than Gasol. those fillers are just there for contract reasons.

Because Houston does not value Gasol enough to want to give up four quality (young) role players for him. Is that reason enough for you? Trades don't exist simply for the benefit of the Lakers.

If the point is to recreate the lakers of 1993 then your trades a sweet. I would suggest when you suggested the lakers trade Dwight for Dan Marlje and Tom Chambers your trades only got worse from there. I'm not hating on you, just laughing at your trade ideas. Just because the espn trade machine makes it match, not everyone wants LAs trash. If you have to ask why trading Pau for Samaki Walker, or trading Dwight for George MCCloud is a bad idea then we might have bigger problems.

If I were to suggest trading Kobe for Rumeal Robinson and people told me it was a bad idea, I don't think I would need further clarification.

Well, i dont think it's bad - i just dont think it's going to happen.
I think Asik is untouchable for Houston, perhaps Parsons as well and i dont think Toney Douglas would fit in LA.
Parsons would be awesome to have, though.

That is one of the worst trades i have ever seen proposed.
Nothing is good about it


First, lakers are taking back too many players..
2nd, why would the lakers want another post dominate center?
3rd, Houston is NOT giving up parsons, he is one of their most valued players.
4, Houston is not hot for Pau anymore.


Might as well put out a Lebron for Duhon, Ebanks, and Morris...

Asik, Morris and Parsons are all assets and Pau is not the player he used to be.
