Before posting a trade rumor or idea...
Please be aware that they are different from each other (rumors and ideas).
When you post a trade idea OR rumor, be sure to note that at the beginning of the title. For example...
Idea: Bynum, Artest for Melo
Rumor: Ratliff for Tierre Brown
It's important for us to specify. I'd appreciate it if this was done. It would be more descriptive and wouldn't give our members heart attacks.
Thank you.
@topic:
I don't see this trade happening.

I suggest you change your username to badtradeideastoday
What an awful trade. Isn't this the guy who suggested we trade Dwight?

Because Houston does not value Gasol enough to want to give up four quality (young) role players for him. Is that reason enough for you? Trades don't exist simply for the benefit of the Lakers. Please explain WHY this is such a bad trade. People just say its bad with no explanation behind it. Nobody ever explains WHY. This trade would help us more than if we had only Gasol. Having Parsons & Asik without those other guys would help more than Gasol. those fillers are just there for contract reasons.

If I were to suggest trading Kobe for Rumeal Robinson and people told me it was a bad idea, I don't think I would need further clarification.

fixedTHANK YOU, that is a valid reason. The point of a forum is to discuss and build on an idea, not to just hate on people who come in with ideas that everyone thinks are bad.

Well, i dont think it's bad - i just dont think it's going to happen. Please explain WHY this is such a bad trade. People just say its bad with no explanation behind it. Nobody ever explains WHY. This trade would help us more than if we had only Gasol. Having Parsons & Asik without those other guys would help more than Gasol. those fillers are just there for contract reasons.
I think Asik is untouchable for Houston, perhaps Parsons as well and i dont think Toney Douglas would fit in LA.
Parsons would be awesome to have, though.

Nothing is good about it
First, lakers are taking back too many players..
2nd, why would the lakers want another post dominate center?
3rd, Houston is NOT giving up parsons, he is one of their most valued players.
4, Houston is not hot for Pau anymore.
Might as well put out a Lebron for Duhon, Ebanks, and Morris...

Asik, Morris and Parsons are all assets and Pau is not the player he used to be.
