Tell that [expletive] to kobe...He doesnt give a flying [expletive] he is going to shot deal with it! The [expletive] that he was shooting he normally takes those shots so why the [expletive] are u getting mad now. He was still getting fouled.

That's right...and what did it change? Nothing. The refs don't care that he's Kobe...they are not fan boys like some of us. As long as they are consistent, I'm fine with it. It's KOBE's fault if he doesn't recognize that and adjust.

If he's still whining like some of you are, he's lost his mind...and on nights like this, he's harming his team and it's chances to win.

Kobe on his 41 shots

"A LOT of them should have been free throws. But later in the game i decided to not take it to the whole and just take the other easy shots."

And it worked.

How about pass up a shot, Kob? You've got teammates for a reason. And one of the best P&R PGs and Cs in the league...

Ever think about that?

Funny stat: If Kobe makes 3 of the shots he was fouled on. His shooting percentage would have been 50% for the night

I never whine about [expletive]. Yall should know by now that Kobe is going to shoot and he told yall himself... least he is trying to win which all that matters to Kobe which we did, what yall need to be getting mad at is that soft ass Pau Gasol

Kobe obviously shot too much but some of you still aren't giving him credit for making those shots down the stretch lol stop hating and give credit where credit is due. Kobe is going to take the most shots down the stretch of a close game I'm surprised some of you STILL don't understand that. AND he's gonna take bad shots every game. Get over it. Some nights are worse than others (like tonight) but we still won.

Dwight has to be more physical and get position EARLIER. If he can seal his man, those lobs won't get picked off. He'll get a llot of EASY looks at the rim.

He's been slow this year. His reaction time, timing and anticipation have been subpar at best. It's like he's playing in a fog.

I hope Howard is really still healing, because he played 29 minutes tonight despite the foul trouble, and got out-rebounded by FOUR other Lakers ( Gasol, Bryant, Hill and MEEKS ) and three Warriors ( Lee, Ezeli, and CURRY ). There is no excuse for a healthy Howard being the eighth-best rebounder in a game.

That said, for the first time in a long time, the Lakers looked like they actually cared about the outcome of the game tonight. So while I still have reservations about D'Antoni, I will give him credit for, at least, inspiring this team. I'm not sure they ever played that hard for 48, or 53, minutes under Brown, and rarely did so in the regular season under Jackson.

Hard to believe that Kobe took just 5 fewer shots than the 81 point game ( 19 fewer free-throws, though ). I'm not a fan of that, at all, but I will give credit where due... he wasn't __just__ shooting the ball tonight, finishing with 10 rebounds and 5 assists, and locking down Jack for the most part. Did anyone else see Kobe imitating The Machine on MWP's 3 at the end of regulation? "Dwight I'm OPEN!"

I would love to hear Nash's honest opinion on tonight's game, but I doubt we ever will.

Five, actually, but who's counting?

More interesting stats... Lakers not named Kobe shot 50% ( 33 for 66 ). Warriors not named Jack shot 39% ( 33 for 84 ). Curry had a Kobe-esque 8 for 23 evening, and Thompson wasn't a whole lot better at 6 for 16. Kobe actually shot enough to turn that 11% differential into a virtual tie, for the game.

There were roughly 115 rebounds in this game, and Dwight Howard got in the way of just 6 of them. He must have been running away from the ball.
